Today I went to the drs for a consult for a breast reduction, the Dr said I was perfect candidate for the reduction but with the type of insurance I have , I would have to have 3 months of physical therapy , my question is , did anyone have to do physical therapy , if so what do you have to do while there ? I was on the depo shot when I was sleeved and still on it a year post op and I had no changes or complications , I do know you become really fertile after being sleeved so its better to be cautious then to be pregnant lol

People really didnt see my weight loss until 40 pounds or so , but you could say you changed poor eating habits , drink more Water and lots of walking , Best wishes

I also had a week off and had no issues , I was tired the first week or two after surgery and needed naps once I got home but not tired to the point, I couldnt function , best wishes

I was sleeved a year ago and 4 out of 5 of mine were raised , ugly and one was even oozing but a year later , you barely can see them and after my Tummy Tuck pretty sure they will be removed with procedure , best wishes

I didnt have to do a liquid diet , I think it has to do with something about the liver shrinking before surgery
-
Anyone not have to do liquids? I have a pre-open diet, but it includes unlimited veggies and 3-4oz of lean meat/egg Protein. Between Protein shakes and big salads, I am finding it very tolerable. But strange to so many of you are talking about a liquid diet. I wonder why I don't have that restriction??

I'm only a few days out. I found my trick for Vitamins because they made me soooo nauseous the first day. I learned to take them after I have my shakes. I know to save room for the Vitamins but I have the small ones with one shake and do only one larger to one shake. That way they are spread out throughout the day. Working so far!

So I went for my 1 year surgery follow up yesterday and I am happy to say that my surgeon and bariatric nurse are both thrilled with my progress! Blood work is on point! My Protein, sugars, D's and B's are perfection! Iron is a bit low but we knew that already! I've still got 50 or so to go but I'll get there!! Thanks to my surgeon Jason Radecke for being the best fairy-god father a girl could ask for! ♡♡♡
Down a little over 70 lbs.
I am a slow loser and I am not complaining!
Here is to another fantastic year and best of luck to all the 2016 September Sleevers!!
Congratulations , im a slow loser to , i lost 61 pounds that will never find me again lol
Alright September 29er here. Getting anxious, spending most of my time at work not working. Started liquids a week ago tomorrow and am down 11#'s so happy about that. Liquids haven't really been a problem, lightly cheated a handful of times mainly with unsalted peanuts. I did my pre-op class yesterday and did all my hospital registration so this time next week I should be a big ole ball of nerves. Happy that my surgeon doesn't do a catheter, not so happy about the 7 days of self injected blood clot medicine. Good think my wife is a nurse and can handle that for me. Plan on enjoying a last day in the pool with the kids.
