  1. thank you so much for this, very encouraging, I'm 3 months post op and lost only 20 pounds, everyone keeps downing me and saying it should be more, I rather it be 20 off then on ,so again thank you
  2. did you have the tummy tuck and panni, if so , as far as pain and recovery, how was it and how was it to the pain level being compared to being sleeved, ,thank you for responding Yes. I had both the TT and Panni. To be honest with you, I didn't have a lot of pain at all with the sleeve, so the pain for the TT was therefore, definitely worse. I think I was not prepared enough mentally for the TT. I got the approval and scheduled the surgery quickly and went into it thinking the recovery would be a breeze like the sleeve. Wrong. Definitely wrong. The pain was significant. The extra weight I carried around, plus carrying 4 babies did significant damage to my ab muscles and there was a lot of repair work to be done. It was rough I"m not going to lie. And I'm 8 months post op on the TT and while it's not pain, there is definitely still discomfort sometimes from it. With all that being said, the results were exceptional and in retrospect, I would definitely do it all again. I have the nicest flat tummy, and a cute little belly button. He also did a little lipo on the sides as part of it and now all of my hard work losing the weight is complemented by a nice hourglass figure. :-) thank you so much for responding, and being so detailed, your awesome, I'm glad to hear it was worth it, and congratulations on all of your progress ????????

  7. I didn't say everything is different , I said everyone is different, but no 2 people recovery will be the same is what I meant Every*one* is different. I, also, was pretty much back to normal, except for my eating (or lack of eating at that point). I felt really good and had no complications at all. thank you ???? I hope everything is still going swell for you and congratulations on all of your progress

    Stall

I'll be 3 months post op tommorow and I been on a stall for 3 weeks tommorow, I only lost 20 pounds, but I rather 20 off then on so I'm not concerned about that , I'm more so concerned with me being on a stall for this long so soon, I'm getting all my protein and and 45/55 oz of water in daily, Can someone tell me , is it something I can do to get the ball rolling again, should I do the pouch test or is it too soon, my nut is out till thursday and my surgeon does surgeries on Mondays and Fridays so I can't ask him, thanks for any input

    Stall

it's a term often used, I didn't mean literally a pouch, but if you look up the definition of a pouch, maybe then you would understand why a stomach is reference to a pouch ????

    Stall

. What is pouch test?? drink nothing but liquid and protein shakes for 5 days to reset your pouch

  17. Im 3 months post op and only lost 20 pounds, people that I know that had the surgery before me, say things like wow you only lost 20 pounds, thats only a little bit etc etc, I look at it like 20 pounds as a lost , I rather 20 off then on , the words of others hurt me most of all, I don't know if I'll ever be one of those people, that the weight just falls off but I will be one of those people, that will believe in me and all of us that we can and will accomplish are weight loss goals
