  1. Ok y'all. I'm about to cry. I have standard Wednesday night dinner plans with friends. They don't know what my surgery next week is. We discussed salmon, veggies, no carbs this week and berries for dessert. Instead we have potato/cauliflower pancakes and granita for dessert. I haven't eaten much today knowing to save most of my calories. I wish I wasn't so hungry! I guess I'm going to have to tell them sooner rather than later....

  2. Any recommendation for online store for liquid multivitamins and Vit.D? I heard you can't take your chewables yet post-op, I don't know how long.I keep looking but no luck. All I can find is Vit.D. I might get lucky at GNC but I bet it will be super expensive.

I got my Isopure Protein drink at luckyvitamin.com so far they have the list expensive price online I found. You can d/l the app Retailmenot on ur phone for coupons which they offer often.

I found bluebonnet calcium citrate on Amazon. I was surprised when my NUT said we could have chewables right after surgery.

  4. Day one here also! I woke up with a Migraine so I can't speak to the headache, but I've never been so tired after getting a decent night sleep. I think I need to spread my calories out better, I was trying to save some so it didn't look weird when I go out with friends tonight. Did anyone else have this problem????

are you allowed vegetables? That's what got me through is veggies when we went to BBQ and I put my shake in a mug too
    a

Thank heavens for vegetables! We are on a 1000 calorie diet. I can still go out and have a salad with some grilled chicken and no dressing.

Every time I think this is a bad idea, I review the statistics in my head. It really is my best option.

  5. I'm struggling with what story to tell my colleagues....some of which are good friends. I guess this must be a problem for anyone who works at a place that Is like a very large, gossipy family.

The NP at work knows that I'm having WLS. My boss knows I'm having surgery and is willing to go with whatever story I provide. I don't want to lie, but I don't want everyone to know and everyone across multiple functions will notice that I'm out.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

    Thanks!!!!!
