Officially 3 months out?
I'm 3 months out and can eat pretty much anything. I haven't tried bread, salad, or Pasta. Not sure I will. I doubt you gained 2 pounds from steak. It's good Protein.

One day post op
I have been one of the lucky ones. .I was super nauseated days 3 and 4 and by day 7 I was back at work. No pain, no complications, no frothing, or vomiting at all. I am 3 months post-op and feel completely normal. I just don't eat as much!

Considering a re-sleeve in the new year
I've never heard of a re-sleeve, and I certainly wouldn't consider surgery for 15 pounds. Go back to what you know. Replace some meals with protein shakes. You can do it!

3-days Post-Op (Liquid)
I had a terrible time getting my fluids in. Even at 3 months post-op, I still only average about 40 ozs per day. I think day 3 I only got 9 ozs and day 4 was 12. It was rough! V But each day improves! You will get there.

HELP! (No, it's not really THAT dramatic????)
I would totally have a bite of a Krispy Kreme. Donuts are my kryptonite!

Any August Sleevers?
Sleeved on 8/17 and down 44 pounds since surgery. I haven't had any issues at all once I got passed the first week or so. I feel great.

Regret surgery
I am about 3 months post-op and I haven't regretted it for one minute! I feel completely normal, except I don't eat as much as I used to. I was so worried before the surgery that I was about to ruin my life. .not even close!

Not feeling well at all
Not helpful. I'm not sure why people feel the need to be condescending to those looking for support.

Having a period right before surgery?
You aren't really incapacitated and will be able to deal with your period. I'm sure your doctor has seen worse! I wouldn't postpone my surgery if I were you. Personally, the surgery was pretty easy. I was nearly back to normal after 1 week. I just couldn't eat or drink much. Nonetheless, talk to your doctor

3 month surgiversary
My 3 months will be 8/17. I didn't do a pre-op and have lost 43 pounds since surgery. My goal was 50 pounds by Christmas and I will have no problem passing that. It feels so great and I haven't had any issues at all. Still can't believe I actually did it!

Protein
You have to eat and drink whether or not you feel like it. I am basically living off of yogurt, tuna, chicken and cheese.

Are you eventually able to eat anything?
For thanksgiving, I will have turkey and veggies. I might have a couple of bites of squash or pumpkin pie. ..but just the filling, not the crust.
-
Are you eventually able to eat anything?
I am 2.5 months out and can pretty much eat what I like ( just small portions) I haven't had bread, Pasta or salad yet though. Not sure I will as it seems like a waste of stomach space. I haven't slimed yet!

For the ladies....Was your cycle messed up after surgery?
Yes. I had 3 periods in 6 weeks.

I need to vent/complain....
I am 7 weeks out and am between 700 and 800 calories a day. Everyone is different. My NUT wants me to focus on protein and not calories.

Pre-Surgery and Post-Surgery clothes shopping *Rant*
I started a Fashion Blog for plus size a couple of years ago. When I went from a size 20+ to a 16. Can't wait to get back to it. I love clothes and you absolutely can dress cute at any size! Message me if you want the link

Clothing Rant
Do you have a Kohls? I like Dana Buchman fashion there.

Re: Snacks
I am almost 6 weeks post op and went to the movies on Thursday. I took one of my premier protein peanut butter crunch bars and cut it up into small bite sized squares and put it in a baggy. It gave me something to munch on. I thought it was quite genius. Lol

Looking for those who had sleeve in August 2015
I was sleeved on 8/17 and am down 25 pounds. However my weight has been stalled for 15 days now. It's so discouraging. Tomorrow is my Stage 3 which is my final stage. I think I can eat most everything except salads. I am also experiencing hunger now. My diet has been pretty good. About 50 to 70 g of Protein per day, 600 calories, and low carbs. I also do Zumba 2 -3 times a week. I just need to be patient I guess, and hope the weight loss starts again soon.
-
Why don't I feel like I am going to be one
I have been the same weight for 11 days now. While I understand there will be stalls, it's awfully discouraging. I don't think I am doing anything "wrong" I am getting 50+ g of protein a day Am staying at about 500-600 calories and averaging 25-35 carbs My fluids is a little low ( about 32 -40 ounces a day) So I guess I just wait it out. Sucks though!

Why don't I feel like I am going to be one
Thanks all! It's hard being all in my head some days! I just have a hard time believing that I will FINALLY reach my goal some day.
-
Why don't I feel like I am going to be one
Of you who have lost so much weight and are at goal? I am only a month out and already stalled (for a week and a half). I have a hard time believing that I am going to be successful at losing this weight. It still feels like an unattainable goal. I have been chasing it for so long only to be disappointed. I am almost afraid to believe it's going to happen. Just a random blurt...

What’s Your Worst Post-Op Memory (or Fear)?
Dear lord. ..yes. It's killing me right now. Ugh.
-
I cannot believe it has been a month !
Another 8/17 sleever here and doing pretty great. I went back to Zumba today. Loved it. Still working at getting all of my protein and fluids in. Some days are better than others. But overall, I feel good.
-
Mmmhhhhh....
Everyone is different. I went back 7 days post op without a problem. I would have lost my mind waiting for 4 - 6 weeks to pass.
