  1. So sorry for whats going on. For your own sake it might be better to let your self feel the loss than mask it with fear. You have a really good thing going for you and the sooner you get back to it the better. Take care of yourself.

  2. Sorry for your dilemma, stay healthy all around and keep looking. Its alright to be frustrated and to accept criticism and advice. If I were at your stage of the journey, I would checking off a bucket list of all those things I missed out on while overweight - you might find your friend along that journey.

    All the best!!!

  3. Congratulations on getting here. It is cold feet and we all had it at this period in our journey. Do not get discouraged, it is not that you will not be able to enjoy food, you will enjoy it. It will just be a different relationship with food. I did feel like you and I mourned food and was conflicted but I must say going ahead with my surgery was the best decision of my life. I am still early in the post phase but I am slowly learning this new relationship with food.

  4. Congratulations on your journey. I had to lose 5% of my weight. For me it was surgeon required to prevent problems during surgery due to large liver. It is for your own safety and better surgical outcome. My surgeon had a disclaimer that if I did not lose he could refuse operating on me. Not sure of the insurance aspect though. Just follow the diet and you should lose, it is hard especially knowing where you are headed but keep trying. Good luck!
