Insurance companies just want to see weight loss discussion in your visit notes with your doctor. If the doctor put in his note that he gave you exercise handouts that counts as supervised weight loss. I'm an insurance coordinator for the surgeon who did my sleeve and most insurance companies aren't real picky.

I work for the surgeon who did my sleeve and we use Prosper Healthcare Lending. They will loan up to $100,000 for bariatric surgery and everything that goes along with it. I don't know what your credit situation is but it might be an option to look in to. They require a credit score in the 600s and allow you 7 years to pay it off.

I am an insurance coordinator for the surgeon who did my sleeve. We schedule all preop appointments and tests at the initial consult. If you've got everything your insurance requires it can be a quick process. Our fastest was 3 weeks from initial consult to surgery.

I am an insurance coordinator for the surgeon who did my sleeve. Federal BCBS definitely takes past records. Anything within the last 2 years counts for supervised weight loss. We just got one approved in December with federal BCBS with past medical records.

Unjury has a non flavored protein powder that you can put in just about anything. They also have chicken broth flavored protein powder which can be helpful when additional protein is needed with puréed foods.

Your body knows it needs something it just doesn't know what it needs. Most of the time it is fluid that it needs. Try drinking and wait 30 minutes before you decide to eat anything. By then the hunger pain should be gone.

I just had a sleeve with a hiatal hernia repair on Thursday. I have had terrible reflux for years since I was pregnant with my son. I know it's still early in the recovery process for me but for the first time in 4 years I have gone 3 nights without being woken up be reflux. So far the reflux is GONE.
