  1. Even with liquids you never go over 4oz? I do with water and protein shakes hope I'm not stretching it. I can drink tons of water at once! How long do you wait after 4oz to eat/drink more?
  2. Try unflavored protein powder in egg drop soup or in cream of chicken or mushroom soup! On week 3 you can do Cottage cheese it is a great source of protein so is tuna salad! All of these are pureed and you can meet your protein requirements.
  3. I'm lucky to get in 4 pitiful short workouts a week these last two weeks ! I'm 4 weeks post op it's hard for me to workout I just want to be lazy! I make myself though even if it's just a short walk or one round of low impact HIIT.
  4. HW 207 SW 200 CW 186 I'm 4 weeks post op tomorrow, have been 186 for a week now! I know because I started with a lower-ish BMI of 32 it's going to happen slow I'm just discouraged. Really thinking about going back to full liquids pretty much just shakes. I also need to step up my exercise. I'm bummed today!
  5. It's very frustrating I feel like even though I'm following the plan it's just not good enough! The only time I felt like it was good enough was on full liquids! I want to go back to full liquids almost! It's just a mental hang up I know! Didn't gain it overnight and I won't loose it overnight! Just gotta keep keeping on!
  6. Premier shakes are great and low fat low carb low sugar! Also isopure powder from GNC is carb free cookies in cream is great! I mix it with a premier chocolate shake in the blender with ice! It's 80gms protein total and taste like a milkshake!
  7. You can totally do it! I know several people who went to Mexico and did it alone! I was so grumpy after mine I wanted to be alone lol so enjoy it! It's totally a easy surgery just walk walk walk sip sip sip and you'll do great!
  8. Which brand do you use? I need a good low sugar option if o decide to add them back in after weight lifting (if I ever heal enough to lift again) lol
  9. On the go ideas people have recommended to me are string cheese, handful of nuts, dried fruits, single serving yogurts, cottage cheese, and apple sauces. Also heard people eating beef jerky but that seem like it would hurt my stomach. I haven't gone back to work yet so I'm worried about on the go eating also.
  10. I love them to! I used to eat them as a cheat or a eat one if I got a little sick after long hike or workout. They always made me so full. I wonder how they will feel with our new tummies? Im curious if we could eat like 1/4th of one?
  11. I try and stay away from them they have sooooo many carbs! Not a great food choice! There are some home made recipes that are basically protein powder and oatmeal. They are low carb if you use low carb protein powder.
  12. Mederma works wonders I used it on my breast reduction scars and they are pretty much gone! I'm week 4 and using it now. Just started because you have to heal a little before you start using it. It's about 25-30 dollars a tube but well worth it! Also neosporin and vitamin E
  13. I get the same feeling in my esophagus like terrible pressure and burning when I eat, like the food comes back in my throat and I feel the pressure of it!? I think it's a symptom of reflux and irritation of the esophagus from acid. When I take prevacid I notice it is WAY better. I also eat WAY to fast I gotta work on this! Eggs are the worst for me I feel them in my throat for hours seems like!
  14. How much are you eating at a time!? Just seeing where everyone is at and what they are doing. I'm 3 1/2 weeks out I don't really measure ounces because I eat about 2 tablespoons most of the time and am full. Just curious TIA!
  15. Since I went to Mexico I don't have a NUT to check up with so I'm curious who is weighing food and how much are they eating!? I'm 3 1/2 weeks post op! TIA!
  16. I just hope the once a week weigh in shows results I'm getting discouraged!!!
  17. Only weighing on Mondays from here on out!! I'm 4 weeks out and down about 15-20 lbs I find that the daily fluctuations in weight from 1-5 lbs just upsets me!!!!! Ugh!
  18. Walk, nap, sip, repeat!! It gets better everyday! By day 3 or 4 I felt 1000 times better
  19. Giant water cups and protein shake cups and blender!!! My shakes and water I sip on all day!!!!
