Originally had lap band procedure on 11/12/2014 in Houston, TX through True Results. Band removed on 11/19/2014 due to complications (became very ill). Paid $5000 out of pocket towards WLS deductible.
On 5/28/2015, had Gastric Sleeve procedure through BariatricPal's Medical Tourism Program in TJ, Mexico by Dr. Altimarano. Hind site is definitely 20/20, wish I would have had the Gastric Sleeve the first time. I am now 1 month post-op and down 20 lbs from surgery date. Still adjusting to my new tiny stomach and learning about its new querks everyday.
