I stopped loosing weight I did all the right things the doctor told me to do. I just couldn't loose anymore after the first year. I did maintain my weight and stay on my diet.

Curious why you're going from the sleeve to bypass within 2 years? If you don't mind

I did the same thing I ate everything in site! I got my phone call last week, going in May 19th for surgery this will be my second time around the first time was two years ago I had the sleeve done now I'm have the bypass.

I was sleeved in 2013 and know I'm going in for the bypass on may 19th I'm concerned about my hair.< /p>

Did anyone else loose any hair? my hair is thin and I'm still loosing some but its not as bad. And its hard

to get the right amount of Protein in. does anyone else have this problem?

My surgery date is set for the 19th of May but I have a couple of questions. I will ask my doctor but I'm just wondering if anyone knows because I won't see the doctor until the 12th.

I'm starting the liquid diet on the 5th but If I remember correctly I was told to go to Clear liquids before surgery? if so how long? and I smoke so how long before surgery do I need to quit smoking? any information would be helpful. thanks :)

UPDATE: I went to the doctor he is going to do the bypass on me within the next month! he didn't give me any reasons but im happy!

Originally my heart was set on the gastric sleeve surgery, since it was the less evasive of the two. When I met with the dr he mentioned we can do the sleeve and I didn't lose the amount of weight that I wanted, he could go back in and do the bypass. Have you spoken to your dr about what you are going thru? or possible see a different dr?

Get a GI work up and find out how big your sleeve is. Maybe you got screwed over. How much can you eat? Do you weigh your food? Has your portion sizes increased? I've had issue with being hungry all the time too, but I can't eat anything over 3/4 to 1 cup of food even when I am starving

I have had a sleeve its been 3 yrs now ive lost 98 pounds. but, it I had it to do over I would have went with the bypass! I will be looking into trying trying to get it. Please don't do like I did and pass up your chance. the sleeve is NOT what people make it out to be. you are still hungry but you do loose weight but its very SLOW. it took me 3 YRS to loose 98 pds and I worked hard to get that off. Its been three years since I've had my sleeve surgery I have slowly lost 98 pounds. My weight the day of surgery was 358 my current weight is 256.

I have been working hard to lose this weight. I I'm hungry all the time! I fight it and drink Water.

I asked the doctor the morning of my surgery to please take enough out of my stomach and he said to me I'm not taking too much because you need to eat. that scared me. I'm afraid he didn't take much out and that's why I'm struggling so hard. im not sure what to do. I would love to have the bypass.. anything does anyone have any suggestions ? I really need help with this! I have cried so many nights I wish I could exercise and move and get this weight off but I can't because of an injury so I have to watch what what I eat. I move the best I can.

I don't feel like I have had the sleeve surgery how can I tell? is there a way to make it feel (new ) again? that only lasted about 2 weeks.
