Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... Even though the scale isn't moving the inches are still coming off (or shifting). My "fat pants" which were really tight before this this journey are now falling off by butt!! So something is working at least.

Guess what... I jumped on the scale again this morning only to disappoint myself with the same number that has been on the scale for the last 3 days. You'd think I would quit looking for a while.
I've been averaging 500-550 calories. Been focusing on keeping my Protein above 70g per day, sugars and carbs below 5g per meal, and fats below 10g per meal... Dr's plan. Last week I was released to get "really hot and sweaty"... ha! Cardio only. Still can't lift over 10 lbs until 6 weeks out. I have a spin bike at the house so I've been turning up the resistance and "getting sweaty" for 30-45 minutes a night. There were a couple days where I was too tired so I walked instead. I'm down a total of 25 lbs, but 12 of that was pre-op.
Glad to see I'm not alone in this boat. Hopefully all of us will start losing again soon.

I love fruit and have been finding it hard to limit how much I eat of that. I'm going to call my Dr's office to see about specifications. A friend who had the surgery at the same hospital said they recommended 90-130g carbs and 1000-1300 calories a day. My stall finally seems to be ending so I'm feeling relieved.
I've been walking so far, aiming for atleast 8,000 steps a day to work up to 10,000. I was told to wait till the 6 week Point to lift more than 20lb.

I have only been walking, I am not yet released to do anything else. Usually 1-1.5 miles/day.

I am on soft foods too. I have been having a Protein Drink for Breakfast, two small thin slices of turkey and some cheese for lunch, and an egg scrambled with ham for dinner. So far, so good, although I ate my egg too fast last night and it hurt!

Red0413, your recap is exactly like mine! Day of surgery I was fine, a little pain, but I got up and walked and walked.
Second day was horrible! I cried most of the day and felt I made a HUGE mistake. The gas pain was about the worst pain I have ever been in (and I have had 2 c-sections) and I walked and walked and took gasx strips and nothing would make it go away. That night, I got discharged and finally passed gas! I felt some hope!
Third day I was still having a lot of pain with hiccuping/burping but I felt so much better. Took me a while to get into my vitamin/pill/water/protein routine, but I figured it out.
The last three days have been great. I have been out and about, got my hair done, shopped, etc. Had Easter dinner here today although my mom did most of the cooking, I helped out. I am feeling like I am getting my energy back.

I have no idea about carb quantities immediately after surgery, though I too would like to know. I found this article recently and found it interesting

Some people subtract Fiber, might be a question for the dietician. Good question.

I was thinking eggs, refried bean (but maybe not), chicken, ricotta bake. Possibly tuna or flaky white fish. I have been using myfitnesspal everyday

I love myfitnesspal! Been using it for years. It's a great tool.
I think I'm going to try maybe an egg and some turkey for my first meal. I've been looking up all kinds of recipes so I can get my grocery list ready for next week.
