  1. My surgery is scheduled May 5th, single mom of 3 youngest 6 years old, and I'm praying so much for surgery to go well! I'm scared like I can't sleep thinking what if! Reading your experiences really helps! Thank you

surgery is coming up and I want to wish you a safe and speedy recovery so you can get back to your babies

  2. Hard to believe it has almost been two weeks since surgery for some of us! While recovery was a bit harder than I expected, I am now feeling much better and adjusting to my new diet. Congrats @@tifperez41515 on your significant loss! I am much slower, but trying to be patient. @@jacobsmom - how are you doing?

try to be patient and just follow the diet my doctor actually has me on soft foods which is wayyyy better for me. What stage are you on now?

  3. I am also scheduled on the 15th. I'm getting nervous as well as excited. I've waited so long for approval that it is hard to believe that the time is almost here!

hey how was your surgery and how are you feeling

I also have surgery scheduled for the 15th...can you believe a week from today at this time we will be done? After almost a year of hoops to jump through, I am ready! Excited, scared, but ready. How has your pre-op diet been going?

hey how are you feeling? How was surgery

  4. How has recovery been?

hey I'm doing pretty good thank god! My doctor said I could start off soft foods this weekend so I'm adjusting to that. So far so good I just have to get used to taking smaller bites and no big gulps because then I start balling with a tummy ache. Ty for asking how are you doing?

  5. I was told to just let it come off on it's own, and it did, after 3 weeks. If it looks like it is starting to get red from the adhesion, call you surgical team for advice. Don't want any infections! Good luck to you!

Thank you but I got most of it. It had a awful smell (dry iodine) and it was sticky I couldn't. As far as dermabond I'll leave that alone

  6. Am I the only struggling to take this iodine off my skin. My surgery was 4/15 and everyday I try to take it off little by little today I couldn't take it and cleaned most of it off with alcohol and cotton balls. Also to make things worse my doctor put gauze and clear film over my dermabond I tried taking one one off to see the smallest incision and of course the gauze is stuck any suggestions guys?

  7. It sounds like jitters are hitting. I'm going to be the same way, I'm sure.

You'll be back with him in no time.

Let us know how it's going.

Good thoughts and all that, ok!

yes I had the jitters even when they were rolling me in I'm catholic I must of said like 40 our fathers and 40 Mary's lol but it helped me feel comfortable and I knew everything would be fine now I'm home comfortable in a little pain but nothing Percocet can't take away thank you :)
