I have been trying to prepare myself so I did 2 Protein Shakes and a sensible meal. Actually made me feel alot better on top of loosing 12lbs . My Dr only requires a liquid diet the day before surgery. But I have decided to do it a week before to get my body adjusted to it and hopefully its not as bad .

Hey, My surgery is April 13 and I was told to go on a clear liquid diet a day before. I been drinking Proteins shakes about once a day now and sometimes I dont. I had the lapband put in 2011 and removed 2014 and even at that point I didn't have to go a preop liquid diet. Some Drs are different.
