  1. Hey guys I wanted to give a great tip I got from an article I read online a few weeks a go I'm trying to find it to share it but I can't :( but I will as soon as I do.

So we all have been there on how painful it could be to have a bowel movement ... well some of you might already know this but for those who don't I been trying the squatting seating position I used my daughter old step stool while I'm sitting on the toilet and put my feet up on the stool and it has help me tremendously.. So I guess this is the right way to poop!! Lol so I hope it can help some of you!!

  2. If you're six months out, the only reason you should be continuing to have Protein shakes, or any liquid whatsoever other than your required Water, is if you are unable to get the required Protein from solid food. Are you having such issues? The above posters are absolutely correct about the effect of solid food on receptors, and you should aim for dense protein at regular intervals throughout the day. Over time, the sleeve stretches to accommodate a little more food bit by bit, and it may be that you need a little more to feel completely satiated. To avoid weight regain in this instance, be sure to choose high quality Proteins, and maybe throw in some raw vegetables to fill up the rest of the room, provided you can meet your protein quota. Definitely avoid trying to close the satiety gap with starchy foods, but be sure there is some healthy fat in your diet as well...that provides fullness most effectively, although you don't want to overdo higher calorie stuff for any reason.

Well Protein Shakes is something my doctor recommend it for a very long time not for a short term so yes I still take them... But thanks to the other answers I will talk to my NUT and see what I can do!

    Thanks all!! :)

  3. The hormonal changes that you are having since surgery and the stress of the surgery on your body could trigger the period. I haven't had my surgery yet (come on Oct 22nd!), but I have a period about every two or three months. Having a lighter period on Mirena is normal. Some lucky few don't have one at all.

Yeah I didn't have any at all since I got the mirena but after surgery is lighter lol good luck on the surgery

  4. funny part I had the first mirena in like 5 years a go gained so much weight so I took it out after 7 months but nothing change still kept gaining so I knew it was not it so I got it back few years back

I've had mine for 2 years and my period stop right after 3 months but now after surgery it has come back not as much as before but still there hope everything still ok I might have to ask my obg one of this days,
