I felt the same the third day I wanted to eat a piece of watermelon since my mom and daughter we eating it, I did and I was like just the juice and man that was a bad idea I felt so sick after that! Lol lesson learn, I also couldn't get all that liquid in even now I still have issues with drinking that much Water but do try with my protein! Is a learning process so don't get discourage and trust me when I say our hormones will play tricky games too! After a week I felt like I made the worst mistake of my life and came here and I was not alone! We all go thru different emotions hang in there and try to not give in the food so u don't get sick!

    Best of luck!

  2. I've had the Mirena for almost 3 years and it has work great for me at first my period went away but after WLS it came back, doctor said it was normal after the stress from surgery ... Still had cramps but not as bad as before I had it put in.. Best of luck!

  3. Like everyone says we all felt the same... I was calm the whole time until they took me inside the operation room I felt so sick and started to vomit for like 10 min until I couldn't no more because I got so scare, but the nurses were so nice they made me calm down. Good luck! And remember to walk walk walk [emoji6]

  4. I did take them to help me sleep since October and Prozac for depression at first I felt ok, but since I'm still eating small amounts taking so many pills with my pain killers made me more depressed and my anxiety level was crazy high, they had to put me on Xanax so I can calm down at times .. So doctor said it was working backwards for me so I had to stop and the withdrawals are not fun ... Hope it work for you

  5. Does anyone ever drink energy drinks? Such as red bull or spark or monsters? I am about to go through my busy/crazy time at work where I work about 60 ish hours a week. I have not tried anyone of these since my surgery. I am 3.5 months out.

I did (monster) at 11 months out because I went back to dancing and need it energy, at first it was ok but then came the sugar crash and made me so sick since I hadn't been taking that much bad sugar that I had to stop... All I will say is be carful ... They are bad in any way so it might not be worth it after so soon from surgery!

    Good luck!

  6. Thanks everyone for replying. I'm mildly dehydrated. It's been a huge struggle for me to get my Water in. I've always been a big Water drinker - 1 1/2 to 2 liters a day - but now it makes me sick. I've pushed through today and forced myself to drink 60 ounces, which I'll make sure to do every day, it so I'm slowly improving and hopefully will be fine in another day or two. So thankful for all the support I find here!

I felt the same way with water so sugar free Popsicles were my best friends in the first few days... An advice I got from here! Try that too to keep you hydrated!

Hope you feel better and things will get easier! ;)

  7. Anyone else experience a complete stop of weight loss after roughly 6-7 months post op? I have been at the same wight +- 4 pounds since October.
