You can answer, "Either is fine with me.", when asked, "Would you like a table or a booth?"

I've never posted pictures on here before. My co workers found an old picture of me yesterday and wanted to take a picture to compare. We were all amazed at the results. It was very emotional for me. Down about 90 lbs in 6 months. Never been happier!

@@Kindle Maybe you didn't cheat once on you're pre-op diet. Great for you! But what about all the other pieces of the puzzle? Perhaps you are one of the blessed ones who never had a problem with anything in your life. Then why are you here? What did you struggle with? Are you so perfect that you are the person in this world who has the right to dish out tough love to another? I don't know you...but I know that you are human. And as a human....you messed up....you failed...you tried your best and you fell down flat on your face! I know this because you are here. You followed your doctors orders to a T? Well, then why couldn't you follow a diet to a T? You needed help, just like the OP. Who are you to dish out 'tough love'? Who are you to judge?

I don't think it is fair to question someone's motivation because they are having a hard time. I bet there is not one single one of you who has done every single step of this journey perfectly. You may be struggling post op with getting your Water or Protein down...why can't you 'just do it'? You don't really want it. You may have struggled pre-op with cutting negative people out of your life. Why can't you 'just do it'? You must not have really wanted it. Every person is different and just because you overcame a particular part of the puzzle does not mean other people who struggle with that particular issue is unmotivated and isn't ready.
Every single one of us is here because we have been unable to control our relationship with food.
Let she/he who be without sin cast the first stone.

I think you will be ok. My dr doesn't put anyone one on a pre op diet until day before. food addiction is why we are here, why we need a sleeve to restrict what we can't do on our own. Just try to adhere by the post op diet as your belly will need to heal...I think this part will be the time to really follow your drs advice.

If it were so easy to "just do it" all of us would have lost the weight without surgery. Most of us also spend a lot of time beating ourselves up over our weight, so cut yourself some slack and treat yourself with kindness and empathy. I think it would be wise to talk to your NUT and/or a therapist about strategies to help you, but I wouldn't give up!
    Wishing you peace and success!!!

Battling hunger, head or otherwise, is no joke. Why be critical of someone struggling? We are all here because we have, or have had issues with food. OP, don't give up, and don't beat yourself up, just pick yourself up, and keep trying. You will get there.

Perhaps in the future you should include a post that uses the "@" function which tags people so they can specifically see your reply. Include anyone in your post who misunderstood what you said and clarify what you meant.
On another note though, you're on an online forum- not everyone is going to be nice, so you need to develop a bit thicker skin. If you don't like what someone says, blast them back, don't make a totally separate post about how you got your feelings hurt. Most people don't care and the nice people that replied above are frequent posters who are unwaveringly kind to everyone. The people who were not nice to you are either going to read your post and call you a cry baby, or not even see it. Go into the forum where they made you mad, tag every single one of their names, and call them out on their crap.
    Woman UP!
