  4. I did see my doc office and they did an ultrasound to check for a hernia but saw nothing. I was so happy it wasn't anything. I thought something was wrong but like you both said that is all it is.
  5. I am 13 days post op and last night I over did it with activities and cleaning ect. I actually felt a big stab when I bent over to unload the washing machine. Now it's agony to walk and get up or down. If I lay down I am fine. I am worried I did something bc it's like being stabbed with a hot knife in my big incision. Any advice would be very welcome.
  6. I didn't get crap???? and now I am having diarrhea and nausea. YAY!!!
  7. This is no joke a huge goal of mine so CONGRATS ????????!!! I never thought I could ever be comfortable showing my arms again but I have hope and you are there you deserve to buy all the sleeveless dresses and tanks lol
  8. Can you give me some recipe ideas? I know I can blend some stuff but I want to vomit ????
  9. My bypassed stomach became extremely bloated putting me at risk of rupture and/or perforation. I had to have a procedure to relieve the pressure. My doc said she had only seen it once before. There where complications with the procedure and I am still in a lot of pain.
  10. Did they give you any pain meds to go home? Lol to the fart comment. I look forward to those all day now!
  11. So they figured out the source of my pain. My lower or "bypassed" stomach was full and hadn't released anything so they needed to get it out or risk perforation. Well all that sounds fine and dandy except I had just drank my lunch shake and couldn't go under sedation. I am then told I can get a cocktail that will take me to la la land where nothing matters. Apparently, that crap doesn't work on me and after begging the doctor to stop then screaming the entire time as he shoved a metal twin down my abdomen to my stomach. I was hyperventilating and feeling very violated. Could have killed anyone to take a min and get me a drug that worked? I was sick afterwards and needed to be calmed down. But I definitely don't feel safe here anymore and want to go home.
  12. I am 3 days post op and still in the hospital. They just switched me to full liquid and proceeded to bring me the most disgusting stuff I have ever smelled/tasted. All I can do is drink the high Protein shake. What Soups did you all find to taste the best? Also, I am still have a lot of pain. I haven't passed any gas and walk all the time. It's like nothing is working right down stairs. I just started peeing on my own which is extremely difficult. Whenever I try and roll out of the bed I feel my incisions screaming in pain. I feel like a failure ????
  13. I was walking really well but then my O2 levels dropped and I collapsed. I also cannot pee on my own so now I have to walk with an oxygen tank and a golden purse. They cannot seem to find a pain killer for me that isn't to strong to the point I can't walk or too weak were I am in pain ????.

  17. Wow I was not prepared for the initial pain. I couldn't handle it at first I was begging for more drugs lol. Feeling soooo much better now. It still hurts like hell but better. Getting up and walking really does help. It's the last thing u want to do but the best thing for you to do. Best of luck to all the ones getting ready to go.

  21. I got my call from the hospital my surgery is at 6 PM Monday. I am pretty sure I pissed someone off to get such a late time but it's fine by me ????
  22. I don't think there would be any harm in talking to him. Your support could be the thing to change his life for the better. I never even considered this surgery for myself until a fellow struggler started talking to me about it.
  23. I am doing terrible on my liquid diet ???? I am tired of smelling all the delicious food my family is eating ????. 3 more days of torture and no more cheating I swear ????
