Well my problem has actually turned out to be gallstones. I have started to be refilled. I may be having the ol gallbladder out this week or next. Thanks for caring.

Hello: I have a question. I was banded in June 08. I have done really well with losing weight. I've lost 65 lbs. I am now to the weight I have carried for more than 10 years, which is still 35 lbs more then I should weigh. Since April I have not lost weight and I have begun to eat foods that I have not had for a year. Recently, I think I figured out that for some reason I am afraid to go to a normal weight which I have not been at for the past 25 years. I am 56. Does this make sense?

Hey Kbug, how are you doing? How long has your mom been gone? It takes a long time to get over the kind of loss you had. Are you married? Have children? How's your grandfather doing? I had banding done on June 6th and have done well. I wish your mom could have had the same success. It's really unfair for something like that to happen to anyone, let alone your mom. You will be in my prayers and your papa.

How are you doing? Did you get your first fill? I got mine and then had to go back after 10 days because I felt like my band was not restricted. When he took out the saline, there was nothing there. So, he put in another 2 cc's. It's been a week now and I am really restricted. Having a hard time eating anything. I'm not going back because I'm hoping it will help me stay on track and continue to lose weight.

Hi JMK: I have not had any emotional ups or downs since my surgery on the 6th of June. Now it might be because I am 55 and post menapausal so my emotions don't fluctuate. I am happy and relieved that I finally have some contro over my hunger and eating.

I'm having surgery on Friday, I sure I do as well as you did. You are awsome.
