I am on here to see ask any one for help. I have lived with this problem for ten years. The proof is in the picture below . Any help from doctors please.It has been found i have a staple line rupture and stricture.

Hi there, I have not had it yet . I wont be having key hole due to the complications i have .I saught a second opinion in 2008 and they said yes we will get you in. But they lost me in there system for four years. I think it will be next month i will go in. Pre ass next week.

Hi , I had surgery in 2005 when I went back to solid food that's when the problem started. But after being admitted to many different hospitals they have found the answer to why I have been so I'll. I have a ruptured staple line and a structure. I will go in some time in September for a by pass . Big op but we will have some quality of life. Are they going to do something about yours? Speak soon

I need help . I have a ruptured staple line and stricture. Told this should be done urgently in Dec last year . I have now been told today by a hospital I am under he does not know why I am sick by his secretary . I find it an insult they say it's in my head. 12 years I have got worse some knew out there please help me. I live with hip dysplaysia.

Attending for a further endoscopy tomorrow. Don't feel I need it as I had one in February. What else are they looking for.

Sorry about the previous post. I seem to have picked up a rogue attachment. I am pressing the hospital to tell me if they have written anything about my "supposed mental state. They have written back without answering the question. I have replied by requoting the question. To date have not received a reply. Diagnosed with a stricture and a broken stapleline in February. Progress slow. Will keep you up to date on progress.

Hi hun , why not try some warm clear apple juice. You will feel the warmth of it going through. Are you still taking meds as they will make you that way. The longest I went was 10 weeks. Xx

I had a vbg in 2005 and suffered sickness and bloating ever since. I was told that I had a problem that surgery cannot solve insinuating that it was all in my head. In February 2017 they finally discovered that my staple line has come undone and that my gastric band was not allowing much to pass through. They are looking to revise my original op to a roux en y. . Has anyone else had similar problems

I was not able as hip dysplasia. But it's how you feel hun . All I will say is don't push to quick. X

I had a VBG in 2005 and have never been able to eat more than slop ever since. My stomach swells and becomes as tight as a drum. I told my Doctors about the problem and they made all the right noises about revision but never delivered. Dieticians came up with the answer that it was all in my head. Finally some 12 years later they have come up with the solution. The stapleline has come undone and the area around the band has narrowed. I found that I too had pain around the ring area. Don't give up. If you think there is a problem remain positive and stand your ground

It is normal for a short while .I have had sickness bloating sweating. Try not to worry. Xx

I had vbg done 2005 , eight weeks in and I was throwing up all the time. Spent every few months in hospital with this and malnutrition , iron deficiency and endemic. They found out after 12 years I have a ruptured staple line and weave through band and stricture. I found this out on thursday. They kept writing it was all in my head , that came from dieticians. 3 psychological assements and nothing to do with this is in my head at all.
