It confuses me when people use the word "we" in their posts. Who are they including in their thoughts? "We are all" is even more maddening. Don't we think?

At times it's insulting and at other times, insipid. Now and then it's to soften the reality and to avoid an accusatory tone. There are the four "we's" that seem not to occur at BP: The editorial, the royal, the inclusive and the exclusive. Sometimes I use it myself and sometimes I do and then delete.

For probably the first time in my adult life, not only did I not gain weight between Christmas and New Year - I actually lost 2.6lbs! While I did choose to stray from plan a bit, I didn't lose total control. Yeah sleeve!

15 days until my Plastics....getting a little nervous but really excited too! Cannot wait until I no longer have to stuff myself into spanks and a bra. LOL

I found my adult Boy Scout uniforms and I have to say that they fit better now than they did the last time I wore them.

You're talking about weight loss and I want to enter an aside. Somewhere around here I still have my Girl Scout pin and knife. What I wish I had is my handbook, so informative and interesting. Maybe I can find one online -- as you put it, a well-preserved treasure. My fear, though, is getting a copy and being coldly reminded that it is a children's book.

The push to onederland begins again. I'm doing the Tony Garza six week fat loss challenge. If I lose 20 pounds, it's free. If I fall short, it's $350. I'm two years out, and I need a new challenge.

Had my 18 month follow up with my surgeon yesterday. I've lost 164 pounds. He said that it's up to me if I want to keep losing weight, but he is pleased with my progress and told me to lose until I feel comfortable. I'm far from a healthy weight, so I will continue to try to lose...

I keep saying that the idiotic psych evaluation should be scrapped in favor of an IQ test. Do the idiot surgery practices ever learn? Nah. And who pays the price? Hint: Neither they nor their patients.

Good morning from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! So much of each day on our trip involves a lot of walking. We are averaging 10 miles each day. I have lost 9 pounds in the week we have been over here. 242 this morning!
