I feel fortunate Dr Nicholson does not push the bariatric brand Vitamins. Here is the list I received from his office for Vitamins.< /p>
chewable Multivitamins twice daily CVS Spectravite Senior Chewables)
Pepcid Complete chewable twice daily for 90 days then optional
Vitamin B12 2500 mcg (2) sublingual once weekly
Vitamin D3 5000 IU's daily
Slo Fe or Ferritt's Iron daily (cannot take at the same time with the calcium)
Calciam Citrate Chewable 500 mg twice daily (Citracal Gummies)
Many times the local pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens often have buy one get one free vitamin products.
Good Luck!

I had surgery on March 24th and that was my first day off. I went back to work March 31st. You will probably get tired pretty easy and will be glad when it is time to go home. I wish you the Best of Luck!!

@@athena3127 Thank you for all of your suggestions. I don't eat fish either. I will definitely have to do some research. Thank you for your great ideas!

@@Goldy6575 I did Slim4Life also for a while..the concept seems the same Protein Protein Protein. I had a problem with that program too finding the right sources of protein. I also did love those Carmel Crunch Bars. They were my absolute favorite!

I had my surgery on March 24th it was Clear liquids week one weeks 2 and 3 puree and has to go through a stainer then weeks 3 through 6 is soft food where I can have things such as scambled egg, refried Beans and hummus. I do not eat meat so it will be a task finding food choices. I am looking forward to trying the ricotta bake that I have seen so many people say they have enjoyed.

I had my surgery at 11am by Dr. Nicholson in Dallas and was released by 6pm. The leak test was done in the OR during the surgery which I thought was a big plus because I could drink immediately after surgery. I did not have a drain either. Good Luck to you!

I had my surgery on March 24th and I can safely say I have been super hungry ever since. I am on a liquid diet (including thinned cream of wheat and thinned soup) for another week and a half. Please tell me it gets better

Well I am back to give a status to my own question. I had surgery on March 24th and was able to sleep on my stomach (leaning to the right side a little) on the night of March 31st. I still have a lot of pain in my left side incision but I am managing by leaning to the right a little .

Do you like Hummus? You could even add a little spicy sauce that you like and have that with your vegetables. Hummus is a favorite of mine I still can't have it for about 10 days but it is a Protein packed treat (that is if you like it Night time after a long days is a time that I struggle the most.

My biggest fear is that the popcorn hulls could cause a leak and that would be so terrible. Your new life will be amazing! I had my surgery on March 24th and was asked to go to a movie with a group of friends 6 days post op. I admit I was dreading getting to the theater and smelling the popcorn but to my disbelief I was not phased at all. My group had popcorn and all kinds of Snacks and it did not interest me in the least. I was really surprised and greatful. I hope my earlier post was not one that offended you because that was definitely not my intent just pure concern.

Please don't! That sounds like a sure visit to the emergency room. Are you not on liquids for 3 weeks after your surgery? Please be safe and take care of your healing stomach. Good Luck to you!

@@peteyrulz I am doing well. Thank you for checking on me. My biggest problem is the gas and the largest incision site hurts pretty bad but other than that it has been pretty good so far. I had surgery at 11 am and was released home by 6 pm the same evening. I hope all is well with you!!

@@peteyrulz I am doing a partial pay too like you. The process went really fast because you don't have to jump through all the requirements the insurance usually makes you do for just WLS alone. If you have a date in mind that you would like call them. They worked with me on the date. The entire process took less than a month after I saw Dr. Nicholson. I am very excited for you too!! Cheers to our new beginnings!!

I am very excited for you!! I am having the hernia/sleeve surgery with Dr. Nicholson on March 24th. My experience so far with Dr. Nicholson and all of his staff has been great!

@@peteyrulz fortunately I live about 6 miles from Dr. Nicholson's office. Good luck tomorrow when you call the office. Dr. Nicholson is a very nice man and is the best at what he does. I have never heard a negative word about him or his office staff. My experience has been great so far.
I will look forward to hearing how it goes! Best of luck to you!
