Fun time last night seeing Steve Miller Band. The guy has serious skills and some bluesy chops that I really enjoyed. Very attractive young gal sitting right in front of me....alone. She wasn't alone as soon as the opening act finished....their guitarist came and sat beside her, clearly a couple. It was a cool experience to shake his hand and thank him for playing so well for the crowd. He really kicked ass on Hendrix's "Little Wing". Overall....excellent show.

Having a hard time with sugar. I made Christmas candy this year and even though I made family favorites (which are not my favorites), I'm still having horrible cravings and not much luck telling myself NO. I've thrown a few kinds out and left the ones I really don't like but i need to pitch those too. Trying to detox now! Why do we crave what we shouldn't have?

Had a 100 mile run goal for December.. I have 3 days left and I'm only at 52 miles for the month, however, I am STOKED and AMAZED that I ran that much. I don't think I ever ran more than a mile in a month in the past!

Just ordered myself some Bariatric pal hot chocolate and mocha. Love, love , love the hot chocolate, looking forward to trying the mocha!

I RAN yesterday. It was only 5 minutes, but I RAN. My husband ran 38 miles but I'm happy with my .1 mile

This Friday marks one year since my mom/best friend passed away. She battled stage 4 brain cancer for 11 months. It was the most hel*ish thing I have ever witnessed. Although I'm relieved she is no longer suffering, I miss her every day. Yesterday I really struggled and stuffed my face with chips, ice cream and popcorn because I knew I wouldn't feel full if I ate those foods. Need to get a grip!

All of these holiday losses and I gained 2 lbs. So discouraging, but I know where I failed (many "little" bites of desserts), so I know how to fix it.

The scale read 200 lbs this morning. That makes my total loss 102 lbs and only one lb left until onderland! The past two months have been slow moving, but getting so close to seeing 1xx on the scale is really motivating!

I did it! I actually exercised yesterday...on purpose! I swear I popped a lung though. Man, that hurt!!!
