  9. Thank you so much for your response......great advice. I was told at the outset that when food is your crutch you will need to find something else, I guess I just never realised how much of a crutch it was.

  15. I was exactly the same at 3 weeks......try not to worry, it will start coming off, I'm 5 weeks post op now and have lost almost 3 stone ????????
  16. Aw I'm really pleased for you.......looking forward to the same soon ????
  17. I too am 3 weeks post op and haven't lost any weight for 5 days........so I know how you feel. It's very frustrating when you know you are only having between 600-800 calories. As others have said, maybe our bodies think we are in starvation, I'm hoping it's something like that anyway. Keep your chin up and carry on doing what you are doing, I'm sure it will come off soon ????????

  20. Well done you.....that's brilliant. Don't think they do tests like that here in the UK!
  21. Wow you sure do have some nice flavour soups...????????????
  22. Gosh that sounds scary........how many weeks post op are you? Interesting to note what you are all taking for the problem, at least I know if it happens, it's a side effect and how to try and treat it. Thank you :-)

  24. Hi, I'm 14 days post op and manage.....weetabix, yoghurts, soups, homous, cream cheese, puréed chicken and vegetables and puréed potato cheese & beans ????????
  25. Hi Elode may I ask when you started having hair loss? It's not something that I have been told about, I'm 2 weeks post Op. Thank you ????????
  26. You only had a week off? And no phased return to work? I'm not surprised you are tired. I'm 2 weeks post Op and considering phased return at 3 or 4 weeks.
  27. Wow you have been lucky, congratulations ????????
  28. Yes I was allowed Coffee from Day 2. Is that different from you?
  29. Hi, I did 10 days on milk and yoghurt, I was also allowed tea and coffee and sugar free jelly. It was very hard, especially like you said when you cook for kids and husband. I didn't cheat, I'm also very proud of this! Keep it up, it will be worth it, you are half way there.
