Hidradenitis suppurativa. Good guess!

Can someone please post a sample of what their liquid diet looked like?? I started today and don't know what to drink! So lost... Surgery in 5 days.

I did not go through bariatricpal and I already paid for the surgery and flight in full. I'm highly upset and disappointed at the reviews I've been reading on dr almanza. What do I do at this point? My surgery is scheduled for May 28.

How do I go about getting an upgrade ? Will I still have the surgery done on the same day I scheduled it for with Dr Almanza?

Congratulations and good luck! I heard the same from friends and some family when I had the lapband surgery in 2011. I was so sick and do stuck on the surgery not working out, that unfortunately, it didn't work our well. So I'll be having the gastric sleeve in Mexico on May 28. I am from Pompano but I work in Boca. Well, my boyfriend broke up with me stating he'd rather break up with me now and break my heart than have me break up with him and break his heart once I lose all the weight I want after the surgery.... Bastard!!!! Made me change my view on relationships. After 2 years of me dealing with his bipolar disorder episodes...

I tried and lost a lawsuit against them. I was very ill and almost died after the lapband surgery in 2011.

Yes thank you I went back home to my country years ago and refuse to go back there because I was made to feel like a creature one lady actually asked me if I just sit in front of the fridge all day ppl are vicious one of the first things I will do when I lose weight is go back home and rub it in there faces lol Pics pics pics!!! I can't wait to go to Brazil next year for my dad's 50th and to see my family's jaws drop when they see me skinny and still beautiful! Lol

Thank goodness! I'm having surgery with him in May, already paid for the surgery and I've been reading lots of negative things about him. But I have faith, I'm blessed and know everything will work out well for me like it did for you!!!

Me too! My surgery is May 28, the exact day when Mother Nature is in town for me. Lol

I've read on here that some women did not lactate after the surgery, therefore they couldn't breast feed their babies. But everyone is different. My friend has friends who had the sleeve done and they breast feed with no problem

I say don't tell anyone. I did not tell anyone but my mom, stepdad and boyfriend. My father is totally against it, he lost over 150lbs with eating right and exercising and he thinks everyone and anyone can do it. I've struggled with obesity since I was 5, and I even had lap and surgery in 2011 with no success! I lost 26lbs and $10k!!!!! My bmi wasn't high enough at the time so my insurance did not approve the surgery. 4 years later, I'm 130lbs heavier than I was and I've decided to go with the gastric sleeve self-pay. I believe people's negative comments in 2011 had a huge impact in my recovery. Everyone said I was making a mistake and taking the easy way out... Well, this time I'm doing it the smart way, by not telling anyone, not even my best friend - she wasn't very supportive in 2011 and she saw me almost die, im sure she still has the same mindset and will not be happy with my decision now.
