I just got my date - April 28th!!!!!!!!!I'm so excited!

Looks like I'm holding up the end of the month! So excited for all of you April sleevers Happy to share this life-changing journey with you.

Would anyone be interested in starting a private Facebook group just for us? I know the February group started one and they love it!

After waiting years it is finally here and I am so excited!. I have researched, and done additional testing to make sure I don't have any health complications and now, finally, the surgery. I am looking forward to the pre-op liquid diet because it will mean that I have started my journey to a better health (and body) Bring it on world!!

You are an inspiration

My internist told me that this surgery has come so far that procedures used 3 years ago are like in the dark ages compared to today. She said surgeries are less risky than knee surgery. This put my mind at rest. Hope it does for you also.

Run, don't walk. Or stay and take your chances and pray everyday that you do not become disfigured, get cancer, or a serious illness because its clear to me this man(I use the term loosely) won't be there for you! It is amazing how much we learn about family and friends during times like these. Congrats on doing this and caring about yourself!☺

I'm reading forums, and books and clinic pamphlets and handouts. I will have my surgery in the next couple of months. I bought a new table and chairs to encourage my sitting and eating properly. (I hated my table and chair hand me downs).I am working my food diary and am trying to up my Water intake. Now I am trying to develop a list of things I need to do and buy- things to have in place. Can you help develop this list? And thanks☺
