Getting Sleeved Tomorrow 7/20!
Any advice for clear liquid diet for day before surgery? Some I read coffee with no cream is ok, others don't say. So far I've had one Earl Grey tea and it's noon. Not too hungry but will try sugar free jello or clear broth later tonight. My girlfriend is doing a juice cleanse today to support me. I did the same yesterday since doc does not allow juice cleanse the day before. Only clear liquids and diluted juice. I check into hospital 5:30am Monday! Wish me luck!

Anyone familiar with barker bariatric dallas tx
I am in a similar BMI and my surgeon only does the sleeve.

Size ?
My goal size is to wear a 36" waist "loose" fit and large size shirts, and not more extra large or extra extra large! I am hoping to get the surgery this year and am a 38"-40" currently with a tight fit.

Greetings! First post!
Hi all! This is my first post and I created my profile the other day. I plan to get the sleeve in 2015 and am trying to learn as much as possible pre and post op, especially on what do do for food after the surgery! I am taking lost of notes and reading hundreds of posts. I guess I'm on the lower BMI side so my Dr. doesn't want me to lose to much weight before the surgery, but I'm getting so excited and making "mental" changes to my view of food and what life will be like after the surgery. I have United Heath Care and am in the process of getting approved for the procedure which I hear can take up to 30 days. Completed: • Psychological evaluation • Registered Dietitian evaluation • Six months medical-supervised weight loss • BMI 35 with co-morbitity Pending: • United Heath Care authorization • Surgery date In Progress: • Researching meal and Protein replacement products Thanks for having me!
