  1. Which Isopure would I order? I looked on Amazon and saw a couple different kinds. Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
  2. Do you add anything to your coffee? Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
  3. Look great! Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
  4. Is there anything I can use in my keurig that's ok? I'm currently preop and allowed max 60 grams of carbs a day. Before my preop diet started, I was using French vanilla Cappuccino k-cups. There's no nutrition information on the boxes so I wasn't sure. If I can't ever use it again, I'll be a little sad....but I'll live. Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
  5. I'm one of those that read a lot, but don't comment too often. BUT...I have seen people that do this. I've seen one person talk about having the surgery and going right back to eating the junk food again as you have said. It very well may have been the same person. Imay scheduled for Jan 23, last thing I want to do is come to this site and see people doing that crap. It's ridiculous. When you know you u ate wrong and you are going to continue to do it, why even post about it?!? I don't want to come here and see that crap. I personally liked reading lipsticklady and babbs comments. If you can't handle the real answers, don't post looking for it. It's called putting on your big girl panties and dealing with it! 6. I'm still pre-op. I quit about 2 years ago when I first started this process. My surgeon requires you to quit, but I can't remember exactly how long. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made! It's crazy how your senses change after you quit too. Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
  7. Thanks for all the responses! I'm sure I got this! Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
  8. I'm still pre-op. I'm scheduled for Jan 23. I had to see my dietician plus my surgeon requires his patients to attend 2 nutrition seminars as well. The nutritionist at the seminar told us to use the 30-rule. Drink 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after your meal...never with it. And to chew your small bites 30 times. Does everyone still do this or is this just a beginning thing? Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
  9. One of my nutritionists told me Protein...she said nothing can guarantee no loss of hair, but keeping your protein up will definitely help . Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App
  10. I'm actually in Clayton, but I heard great things about Dr. Harris. Wilmington is just an added bonus ???? Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App

  13. I could only do collards if cooked right and with good peppered vinegar. Collards, ham, and cornbread is always on the table for any family get together. You can forget to make or bring anything, just not those 3 things. And sweet tea. (Unsweet tea for me lately tho) Sent from my SM-G928V using the BariatricPal App

  23. I've just started my 3 month visit with the dietician also. I should have started back at the first of November, but I put it off due to the fear of losing my insurance coverage. Of course, turns out I didn't lose it and now I'm starting what I should be finishing. Good luck!!
  24. I heard the same thing about the rolled coins also. Even putting weights in the bras.
