I had surgery Thursday May 28 and went back to work today, June 2. I am very fortunate to work from home though so can take a quick nap if needed. But I felt great!

Ugh does this ever get better!! I hurt! Pain meds hurt my sleeve. I can only take a teaspoon sip at a time. Is that normal? Bad gas pain in my shoulder. I think the hernia repair is more uncomfortable than my sleeve -

What feelings did you have right before surgery? I know this is what I want to do but I just feel blah about it lately. My surgery is in 2 weeks and has been scheduled since March.

Not sure why you would have an NG tube?My doc uses it to run dye to check for leaks.

I am most looking forward to not having to use a gallon of lotion if I want to put some on! Oh and wearing shoes with laces!!

I had that with a gallbladder removal and it was an allergy to percocet

I am getting so excited! I don't have a preop diet and my surgery is in 4 days!!!!!! I can't believe it is here! I think I am most nervous about the NG tube they take out when you're awake

What is the physical recovery like? I have an 8 month old baby, a 4 year old and I work from home. How restricted week I be with the kids? I also need to be back working 6 days after surgery. Is that doable?
