Amazing Stephh! Congratulations! You are definitely an inspiration!Sorry to spam you guys... Today is my 1 year out. Look at the difference! I don't even look like the same person. I was down 109.8 pounds this morning. I completed my first triathlon earlier this year. I can run miles. I just am in disbelief. Thanks for letting me share with you! And thanks for competing in my challenges. You guys keep me going some days, even when it's rough! ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1444745171.008294.jpg

Hi Steph, sorry I'm a little late to join! My weight Monday morning was 191 and my goal for this challenge is 175.

193 even. 3lbs away from my goal and completely happy to be 15lbs lighter than I was at the start of this challenge! Looking forward to the next one!
And great to be in Onderland!

Glad to hear it Scoutmom! I've asked myself that same question about if it should be more. I'm very happy with my progress so far, I think I need to start working out more seriously to see larger strides. So far I've only been walking daily. I need more aerobic and resistance training. My biggest lesson learned is to make sure my first bites are of what I really want most. Protein first always! Water isn't always the easiest to get in. Any advice?
Preop diet : 250
Surgery date : 231
Today 193
Total weight lost: 57lbs

Good for you! Best of luck with your recovery!

Five months out today
* My wedding ring (that I had to have cut off and resized a few years ago) now slides off my finger
* Can walk miles without being out of breath - while holding a conversation
* Smile more and receive more smiles and "hello"s from strangers and acquaintances
* Got a pair of size 16 jeans in the mail yesterday (I have NO jeans that fit me right now) and they were too big. I could wear my original size 20 for the first 3 months, now a 14 two months later.
* More confident at work and seem to be more respected in meetings and in general
* Many more - this is an amazing tool we received!
Ditto to all of these things. Such a blessing!

Putting on my size 18 pants and realizing they are just not even going to stay up anymore, so then I grab a size 14 pants that I thought were 16s and said let's just see how far til I fit in them, and seeing that they fit NOW! Best day ever.
