  1. I had my first post op appointment. I haven't weighed myself since my last appointment on March 25,2014. Yesterday I was down a whopping 36lbs. I was so surprised. I refused to make myself crazy weighing everyday because I didn't want to be caught up in only the numbers. So my goal is to not weigh myself until my next appointment May 18th.

  2. I am on full liquids. I tried cream of wheat but it made my belly gassy. I will try it again more thinned out and see if that helps. I actually enjoyed the creamed Soups and had a yogurt today and added Protein powder to it. It was just too sweet but I will try it again tomorrow with less. My partner is super supportive trying to find ways to help me get my Protein in also.

I was sleeved on April 8. I'm having a hard time getting in my protein but I keep reminding myself that I'm I'm only 5 days post op and didn't have a good first two days. I haven't weighed myself and I'm choosing not too. Way to much stress for me. I have to find better liquid alternatives for protein. The struggle is really.

The struggle is real my friend... what are you doing for protein? are you able to have full liquids yet? (creamed Soup, yogurt, thinned cream of wheat?) I am in love with Fair Life milk. its lactose free and has less sugar and more protein, has helped with my protein goals putting it in my shakes, Soup, etc
