I would go to the er if I was in pain. I've been doing milk of magnesia for two days now. I feel action in the gut and gas but still no bm.

It's so hard!! I right there with you... It's hard to stay positive but if you don't, you make it worse for yourself.. I just think back to times I would pig out and feel disgusting and horrible. Yes it tastes good and it's so comforting but then it's over and you feel like crap.... Take it one day at a time. I'm 3 weeks out and I still only get 2 -8.25oz Protein Shakes a day. Sipping Water in between and maybe one bite of food. That's what it is. Yes, we go through regret but this was a permanent decision and now all we can do is make the best out of it... Hope you feel better knowing I can REALLY relate.

I've never had back pain until after surgery. I'm 3 weeks out and my back kills me everyday. I have one part that goes tingly and numb. It's horrible.

Thanks for that. I'll call.

I'm about 3 weeks out. I haven't had any nausea until today. It hit me all of the sudden. I feel very weak too. Should I call or is it normal?
-
Thanks... I haven't even thought of it. I had bm the first week but I haven't since. I'll take something in the am. What about a glycerin suppository ?

Congrats!!!

It's hard... I wish I could eat what I'm suppose to eat. Soft solids, but I just can't. I guess it's okay though, won't last forever.

Lucky!! I've been cooking non stop since surgery. Even though I can't eat, cooking is a stress reliever . All I can do is 2 Protein Shakes and one tablespoon per day... Plus the Water. I wish I could eat 3 oz of tuna!

Jazmundo, this may sound gross, but I'm not hungry either, but do miss the taste and texture. Went to McDonald's the other day and bought a $1 cheeseburger. Chewed it up and spit it out in the bag without ever swallowing. I just miss the taste of the meat, pickles, bread, ketchup and mustard! Told my hubby it was the best $1.08 ever spent!
I love you

Hey ladies. I was sleeved 2/2. Feeling pretty good. Still struggling with Fluid and Protein intake but nevertheless I'm getting there. I can be on soft foods but I choose to take it easy because last time I tried something too heavy I regretted it. Im basically living off 2 Protein Shakes, 2 bottles of Water and a small bottle of powered. I, like most of us, am a foodie and let me tell you.. It feels good to turn down food. I never thought I would be able to do it. I don't have a choice now and it feels good. When I feel down, I remember the long year it took to get approved and the joy I felt once I got approval.

I have the same problem. It takes me about 2-3 hours to get down one Protein Shake that's 9oz. I really don't have time to eat. I have to get up super early to start the process and take my steroid.. If I don't take that, Water hardly goes down.

Wondering the same. I guess it's different with everyone. I still sip and I'm about 3 weeks out. I hope I can take bigger sips by summer time hot utah summers need hydration!

I'll have to look for it. Are they pre made?

I'm on soft solids now. I've noticed dairy is just not digesting well. Anyone else? What irritates your sleeve.... I can't digest yogurt or cheese. I found a small slice of turkey goes down ok. I'm trying egg salad today. Just boiled egg with light mayo.. Hoping that goes down ok. Trying a small teaspoon at a time ... One step forward and one step back seems like..
No BM in two weeks?
