I am 4 months post-op sleeve, down a total of 115 lbs since I started the journey. Went into a big and tall store (just to know I don't HAVE to be there) that carried the size jeans I now fit in to. I walked in and the lady there asked if I was there to shop for someone who is big and tall. I never heard that before and I almost cried and gave her a hug. Feeling AWESOME!!!

Today is my 6 month Anniversary, I forgot until just now. I went from wearing tight size 28 jeans to comfortably wearing size 18 jeans. I'm not huge anymore I am just regular midwestern fat and it feels great

Pre-op diet Day 5...this isn't so bad! Totally do-able. And I'm down 7.5 lbs!

Well.. here's a new start.. ONCE again.. Back at square one..

Roasted Chicken &Carrots for dinner tonight at my house. The darn house smells so good, I can hardly wait until it's done.

I think the most annoying thing about having my band is the constant coughing. Mostly at night. I don't feel too restricted I actually am happy wit the restriction. I still feel hunger and I still eat just very small portions, but I have this lingering cough that wont go away. Anyone else here experience that?

I am Normal!!! Ok, no smart a#% comments! LOL. Today, this morning I plugged my new weight in and I moved from overweight to a normal BMI! I am seriously so excited. First time since I was 19 years old!

1st day back to work = epic fail on protein & water. Trying harder today.

Long day but feeling blessed - packed up my office today (laid off in a few days). My town was then hit with a tornado tonight. Utter devstation less than 1/2 mile away. It stopped at the end of my street.... Tomorrow work will start to help others who weren't as lucky including my step-father. Puts life in perspective for sure.

Hear ye! An important NSV that has never been mentioned is not having to spend on shipping charges because local stores have puny selections of plus and big & tall sizes.
