  1. I'm 53 and waiting for my surgery date. Wish I'd done it when I was younger, but it is what it is! I'm healthy but on the brink of problems unless I make a change, so bring it on!
  2. This was helpful - thanks for posting
  3. There is a blog called the World According to Eggface who posts amazing recipes for protein shakes, using fresh fruits, torani syrups, etc. She is on Pinterest as well, a wls success story, very down to earth, lots of other recipes, too. With vanilla shakes, I find a sprinkle of cinnamon and or nutmeg makes a big difference. I like Unjury the best, but still a rookie, hoping for March surgery.
  4. Great question. I'm in the same boat. Look forward to other responses
  5. Viactive chocolate chews, 2 per day, but you can't take them at the same time because your body can't process it all at once, so one after breakfast and one in the afternoon when I'm craving a little tiny something chocolate anyway.
  6. This was very encouraging, especially for someone still on the up side of the hill ( pre surgery, almost ready). Congratulations!

  8. Hoping Feb. Endoscopy Thursday, all other labs, pretests done, -18 lbs, fingers crossed, lips stapled shut...
  9. Perfect conversation for a miserably snowy day here in NH! I am a new member, pre-op, finishing my labs and meeting w my surgeon next week. Folly, my husband married a slimmer version of me, then acted like he didn't notice 5 lbs/year over 25 years of marriage, bless his heart. Still attracted to me as is, but my drive is lower than his. I wasn't aware of this potential side effect, but he'll do a happy dance when I suggest the possibiity. Jenn, I fear the saggy skin but figure I'd rather be unhappy with sags then unhealthy with bags. Thank you ladies!
