  1. @@AvaFern, that's exactly my thinking. I just have a headache and bad sore throat, and swollen glands. It's not like I'm coughing or anything, so I should be good to go.
  2. Surgery is tomorrow and I woke up super sick with a headache, swollen glands, sore throat... ugh! Did any of you have surgery while sick? I am not going to put this off!!!
  3. 1) being able to reach everything for shaving, washing and wiping purposes 2) being out of plus sizes 3) having a normal size bath towel wrap all the way around me
  4. I'm allergic to morphine as well and don't take pain meds. Toradol is the strongest thing I'll take and usually only on the day of a surgery. Tylenol does jack crap for me so I don't bother.
  5. angie I tried to friend you but your settings don't allow it. I sent you a message. Check your "other" folder.
  6. Wow! I wonder what makes the shape so different after surgery!
  7. Sure. Somebody create it and link it here. Just make sure it's secret!
  8. Wow you guys are SO encouraging! I have hope that my size 10 isn't unrealistic! YES!!! @@chip305 that's freaking amazing! 2.5 months out and already out of plus sizes? I can't WAIT!!! I'm at a tight 18 or a normal 20 now so it sounds like we are similar! Same height too.
  9. I know, RIGHT? Couldn't believe my eyeballs when I saw that! Found them in a freaking Good Will of all places...
  10. My "ideal" body weight is 124-138. I barely made weight at 138 going into the military a million years ago and I was in a size 12. So I'm crossing my fingers that I surpass that. If I make it into a 10 I'll be ecstatic!!!!
  11. Yes they are 15 grams of carbs and no carbs. Definitely not drinking enough water!
  12. I'm having surgery day after tomorrow, and my doc didn't require a pre-op diet, but I figured I would do it on my own today and tomorrow, just to wrap my brain around it all. I'm doing only Protein shakes/drinks today, and I feel SO dizzy and just generally crappy. What am I doing wrong? Will I feel this bad after surgery until I can eat real food again? I'm second guessing my decision and it's only been like, 5 hours! Tell me I'm just being a dork...
  13. I wrote a list but that's it so far lol. I do have all of my protein and vitamins in my own personal cupboard. I don't have to do a pre op diet but I'm putting myself on all liquids starting tmrw.
  14. I hope I have this side effect! Menopause sucks.
  15. im having a hernia repaired with mine (on the 18th) and pray I'm one of the lucky ones too! Been living with severe gerd for 20 years!
  16. I have surgery in 3 days. I'm 5'4" and my healthiest weight post high school was 138 pounds and I was a size 12. I was in the military. As soon as I stopped that daily exercise is when I started ballooning. Anyway, I was searching for a size 12 goal pants this weekend and I didn't find anything that jumped out at me. Then, like magic, there it was. The perfect pair of Vera wang pants. For 5 Flipping dollars! How could I pass them up! The issue is...they are a size 10. The dream size. The size I've always wanted to be. So I bought them. Am I being unrealistic? Or do a lot of people actually surpass their goals and get thinner than they were in high school?
  17. Yup I love that stuff. Bought the big tub of it.
  18. Surgery doesn't work for people with food addictions or binge habits? Wait... So it won't work for 99% of us? I have to call BS on that one. Most of us are here because of food addiction.
  19. I have my pre op appt Friday and I'm hoping the doc gives me a binder with food guidelines and stuff so I don't have to rely solely on the Internet lol.
