  1. I'm getting sleeved on March 6th with Dr. Ariel Ortiz at the OCC. I'll be at the Marriott from March 5-9! It looks like a lot of places use that hotel for surgery patients. I'm starting to get super nervous. I'm on my pre-op diet now....2 Protein Shakes, 1 meal per day then all liquids for the last 2 weeks before surgery. Definitely a struggle but I know the end result will be worth it! Good luck to everyone getting sleeved or recently sleeved!

    Yay! We are sleeve twins! I will be getting sleeved by Dr Elias Ortiz and ALM on March 6th. I'm really nervous because I am going alone


  2. Homemade stock only takes about an hour (even less if you have a pressure cooker) and can be frozen for a long long time. I recommend measuring out portions in quart size or smaller freezer bags and then a gallon of stock will go a long way for you! Lightly cartelizing your veggies, using mushrooms, and using tomatoes or miso will make it taste a lot better.
