  2. I know you wrote a lot but to make this short i felt the same about the protein shakes and then i found the Atkins pre-made ones. There are many flavors but the Dark Chocolate is awesome it takes away the after taste completely. Try them. The more protein u take in the quicker you'll lose.

  8. I don't know about anyone else but I'm about 6 weeks out, yesterday my friend and i hung out and went window shopping and it was right then that i realized just how EXCITED i am to get to a point that i can walk into a store and shop off the rack that doesn't have gawdy tablecloth looking items. I'm so ready to get out of the "Women's" Department. Lol. I'm READY!!!!

  12. @@AddryW, i imagine it takes quite a bit to get your stomach "stretched" my nutritionist says go back to your phases if you feel like you've gone off track like go back to Bariatric liquids for a bit and slowly ease yourself into the solids again and you should be fine. Most important don't get discouraged when your body stops losing for a bit because if you're sticking to the plan you'll start losing again. Good luck girl

  14. It must be a good week my friends because it appears that my "3 Week Stall" had also been defeated and i too have lost some pounds this week. I can't tell you how hard it truly was stocking to everything and not seeing any results but it's happened just as everyone promised. Thank you ALL for the sport and guidance you give ~♡♡~
  15. Muck? Why do you say that? What happened?
  16. DON'T REGRET sweetie this is the 3 Week Stall!!!!! And YES it truly sux on so many levels I'm just a month in and same as you the weight that i lost came off in the 1st 2weeks and THAT WAS IT! !!!! My surgery was December 11th and this is the first week that i lost again and only like a pound. If you are following the guidelines you'll start losing again, try not to get depressed and throw it all away. Keep positive the best you can, I've been told there are THREE possible Stalls ... now, again in ur 3rd month and once more at your 6month mark. So stay positive girl we can do this so many people have succeeded let's be part of the success together!!!!
  17. Tamaramauro the gas is the worst. Mine lasted almost 2 weeks every time I'd try to even blow dry my hair it would creep up into my shoulders and hurt so bad. Every day gets better and better and the more you move the better you feel. Hang tight the best had yet to come. ..~T~

  21. Dear Gail Ann I too had the Gastric Sleeve, mine was on December 11, 2014 and I was FREAKING out because I dropped 25lbs in less than 2weeks and STOPPED!!!!! It has been almost 2 full weeks and I am teter tottering at 260 to 265lbs. The only reason I think that I dropped so much right away is because my Dr. keeps you on Clear and Bariatric liquids for a full 3weeks. The Good news my friend, is that when I saw my nutritionist this past weekend she assured me that it is "Normal" to come to a slight hault in the 3-4th week, again in the 3rd month and once more in the 6th month. She said that your body is So used to being a certain weight that it is hanging on to everything you are putting in from shock and thinking that you are starving yourself even though you are not!!! Girl, Stay Strong, I promise if you do I will too because I am feeling exactly what you are feeling but I have to believe that if I am following the diet, which I am, step by step then WE MUST LOSE!!!!!! I am interested in your progress please keep me posted!!!! Luv ~T~
