  1. Yup, I'm getting way way more attention now that I was getting two years ago before I had the surgery. I find it both flattering and somewhat saddening. I guess flattered because I have someone that actually showing a sense of sexual attraction towards me, and that is indeed a new/newer feeling for me to get/understand. Sadden because I am worth so much more and that it took me having to loose a shit ton of weight for someone to see actual value in me. I guess honestly if I had to classify how I feel about it I would be 3 parts flattered and 1 part bitter about the attention. But then again I remember that I enjoy having sex, so that 1 part bitterness can totally go out the window if I'm getting laid. Sorry, but I'm still a man, in fact a man that has been blessed with a flooding on testosterone as of late, so my sexual drive is off the roof.

    Weed.

Early on after the surgery the only thing I could say that it did was that it got me higher quicker. But now that I'm well over a year post surgery and my body has completely healed from the surgery I would say that my tolerance for it is back to where it was pre-surgery. I've recently dabbed into the CBD/THC in foods and oils and found those to be somewhat as affective as smoking it. But the high or buzz takes longer to get to the bloodstream than smoking it does. But boy oh boy when it does finally break down and hit the bloodstream, yeah talk about an intense high.

    Sex after Gastric Sleeve..

Man I started having sex about three weeks post surgery. Was suppose to wait up to six weeks, but my horny toad having ass couldn't wait no where near that long. And that was three weeks from the surgery date. Pre-surgery during my liquid diet phase I think I was screwing damn near every other day during those two weeks. (Back then I was in a polyamorous relationship with two women at the time).

Is peanut butter a good source?

Yeah I started off with PB2 powered for the first 4 to 5 months, then I moved to sugar & preservative free natural Peanut Butter for a while just to maintain my blood sugar levels. Now I'm back to regular peanut butter, but I still use PB2 faithfully for smoothies.

I just want to say you killing it!! You look awesome! I've been seeing you across the forums.. And thank you for the input, all my energy and research was into the rny until about two weeks ago. I'm just finding out about this acid reflux. I'm definitely not digging that.. But two years post op and complications.. Blessing!! Sent from my LGLS675 using the BariatricPal App I meant two years post op and you have no complications . and one more question, would you do it all over again? Was it worth it? Beside the of course weight loss and looking and feeling better, the emotional and psychological part about it, and of course side effects of the surgery?? Sent from my LGLS675 using the BariatricPal App Thank you for the compliment. I truly do appreciate it. As for if I would do the surgery again, yes I would. Even though I didn't suffer from GERD or acid reflux, and instead of hair loss, I got body hair growth, I did have memory complications post surgery. It was ruled to be caused by the general anesthesia that I was under during the sleeve procedure. It took the better part 10/12 months for my memory to come back to the level that it was at pre-surgery. That's the main part about this surgery that personally suck for me. So if I could do it again and avoid the memory loss then without a shadow of a doubt I would do it. But if knowing that I would suffer from the short term memory loss stuff again I would have been for a long time about what I need to go through the surgery or not. Because the memory issues did have some effects on my everyday life from my job performance even the relationships that I was and during that timeframe. African American Sleevers

I'll be two years sleeved in about 6 weeks from now. I can say that I never had any issues with acid reflux post surgery or even before surgery. Early on I had issues with puking, but I think that was more due to the fact that I had both a sinus infection and Strep throat post surgery that made those conditions happen. I have heard of some people having experice with gerd from the sleeve but not many.

Halloween transitions from 2012 - 2016. From flesh face zombie (2012) to Jack Hanna (2013), then Nature Boy Rick Flair (2014), to Peter Pan (2015), then finally Nick Fury (2016) Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

    f**king freezing

I will be two years post op on December 22nd. And I can tell you two years later I am still hating the fact that I am cold all the time. I usually wear not 1 but two layers of compression under garments under my clothes, and that has helped a lot with not only keeping me somewhat warm, but with some of the loose skin not getting too loose on me. I would recommend those at least to help with keeping more of your body heat within you.
  12. Why quite the sexy figure you have there madam.

So last night after almost two years post surgery, I finally cleaned out my closet of all the old clothes, I seriously can no longer wear. A friend of mines in need of clothing, as he's going through some hard times, gladly took my old clothes off my hands. Over 15 pairs of pants and at least 20 to 25 shirts ranging from polos to dress shirts. He even got my old business suit. So before I let those things go, my girlfriend helped me take some goodbye photos of my old closet clothes. For they've found a new home. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

And I do have a Halloween party I'm going to this weekend. I think I can probably pull that off. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

Hey thanks for the kind words. A few months ago once I figured out that I could shop in like the GAP and American Eagle stores for clothes, I said then and there that I was officially going to start stepping my clothing game up. Plus it helps boost the self esteem and it actually makes you wanna work out more. Today I brought two suites that cost me only $200 brand new. Before I lost the weight I would have easily paid over $600 for a complete suit. Not having those huge cost differences in clothing now is a super plus in my book.

Getting ready for a wedding today. Figured I would take this shot and compare it to one I did about 6 years ago. I was indeed at my heaviest weight at the time. And I dont even need a belt to wear these pants. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App
  20. No you are quite alright for posting this. The only reason it was in the male's only forum was because there was/is a concern about it being a prostate issue and not just a kidney/gallbladder issue. But yeah I have been making sure I was getting my fluids in. I may have to take your lead and back off of the Water enhancers and just try to get pure water in and not water mixed with powered or teas. I was on the app via my phone which doesn't show the forum threads are posted to. Just realized this is in the male only forum. My apologies. Sent from my XT1565 using the BariatricPal App
  21. I'm curious to know if this is a common issue for people post op? I ask cause I've been noticing weird abdominal pains on my left side, feeling like I've always got to go the restroom, and slight discomfort when I do urinate. I've been recently diagnosed with having urethritis from my urologist, however I am wondering if my surgery and changed in diet may have played a role into this condition. I would say that for the last few weeks I haven't been consuming nearly as much Water as I should have been. I'm on antibiotics for the next two weeks and then I will have another follow up with the urologist. Also, there was an initial fear of a possible STI/STD, so I have all sorts of blood and urine testing done and everything came back negative. Which was a good wake up call for me. But still doesn't really help in determining what is going on with my body at this time.
  22. I try to get no less than 120oz of water based fluids in a day. So if the water consumption is low and it does turn out to be some sort of stones, whether kidney or gallbladder then I will just have to deal with it. Don't want to deal with it, but I guess I had a high enough chance of running into these sort of issues when I choose to have sleeve surgery.
  23. Thank you for the insight.
  24. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I am not sure that what I am going through is a gallbladder issue. After doing more research on it, my symptoms don't appear to line up with gallstones at all. I guess I will wait till my follow up visit with my urologist to see what will be the next course of action.

Do male loose weight faster than female?

LOL....that's women because I'm Polyamorous and actively practice Polyamory. And yes I have been told by a few partners that had me pre vs post surgery that they indeed noticed a difference. Lucky the woman in your life..... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
