    Clothes

Hi. I had my clothe tailored to fit better and purchased minimal essentials especially for work. My shirts were easier to fit but definitely tailored my pants. I went from xxxl shirts to large and pants were size 46 and presently 34-36 pending designer.
  2. Hola. Upper Manhattan here. How are you? Used to live in Brooklyn [emoji3]
  3. Ok Once I did everything and the paper work was submitted by the hospital i was approved about a week later. Once I had the approval they were going to do the surgery two weeks after since they had an opening but I held off for a month later in order to prepare myself and properly do the 2 week preop diet. The only hard time I got from 1199 was that my doctor kept me out for the entire allowed time of 6 weeks due to fatigue. They only wanted to accept 3 weeks but it was resolved quickly once the surgeon spoke to them. That same day they approved my 6 weeks for my short term disability. Aside from that I didn't have any issues with them considering i work for 1199 but when it comes to disability they're very strict and require documents. There was no favors considering I work here .
  4. Hi. Interesting. That must have extended it. When I did it, it was 4 months and a few coworkers also waited 4 months. The important thing is to get it done. Good luck
  5. Great. You'll love them. Unfortunately the surgeon that did mine left to become director of surgery at another hospital but the staff is awesome. They also have a support group that meets monthly. Ask them about it. I usually go depending on how much work I have. But they are very thorough. As long as you follow their guidance you'll succeed. It's also about being mentally prepared. Prior to my surgery I knew my eating had to change so I made a list of all my favorite places and enjoyed each meal slowly just to remember them. It did help a lot. Now it's just about maintaining it. The gym and exercise is very important.
  6. I have 1199 insurance from my job. I had to wait 4 months for approval. Monthly check in with my doctor, psychologist visit, sleep apnea test, nutritionist visits. Once I did all that I had the procedure the following month. I started the process in January 2015 . I had it done at NY Presbyterian Hospital. Best experience. The surgeon kept me out for 6 weeks due to fatigue but most people go back after 2 weeks but everyone is different. Feel free to ask anything else you may want to know.
  7. Hi. How are you? I know the feelings you're going through. I was sleeved 5/29/15. I'm coming up on 2 years. I started out at 345. Went down to 195. Presently at 215.
  8. Of course lol. Where are you being sleeved?

    Rockland NY/Bergen NJ doctors

Hi. I was sleeved by Dr Bagloo when she was at NY Presbyterian in May 2015. Awesome experience with her. The pre and post follow ups with her team made it a great experience. She answered all my questions and even in one situation called me right away after having a minor issue and was resolved with a Rx. If you Seeger tell her Antonio T from NYP said hello.
  10. Hi. How are you feeling? Where are you from?
  11. What is everyone status? Sleeved or waiting to be?
  12. That's close enough lol
