  1. Really...I am 1week post op tomorrow and I have no desire for food. It's so hard for me to drink my two protein shakes....I'm lucky if I get the second one in. I always feel full
  2. I'm doing ok. No vomiting or nausea either. Trying to get my fluids in too.

  9. Hi CanadianGirl74 that is great news maybe we can be buddies. My surgeon is Dr. Jackson @ Toronto Western. I was originally with Dr. Klein at Humberview but the wait for him was too long so I got transferred. What about you?
  10. Well if u want the process to go mor quickly....you could always have your file transferred to Toronto. I was originally at Humberview an I did all of my classes and appointments in 3 months but the surgeon had a long wait time. So Humberview transferred me to Toronto Western...and I should have had my surgery in October but things happened and now it's in January.
  11. Hey everyone ......yup on that optifast now. It's going ok. Yesterday was my first day at work on it.....it was sooooooo hard. I received so many chocolates in the mail from some of my clients, work had a lunch and I had to decline and there were so many treats everywhere I went in the office. Christmas is definitely the hardest time of year to be on a liquid diet...I'm not giving up.....I am on day 5 now and I can do it. Mind over matter right

  15. It's hard. I have headaches and the worst part is cooking for my four year old. But I'm staying focus and I heard it gets better after the 5th day.
  16. @@newjules I'm from Toronto Ontario and will be having my surgery on January 9th. I'M on 3 weeks of optifast too. The only flavour they had was chocolate.....I have to mix the powder with water and it's not that bad.
  17. @@bigbattynatty that is a gr8 story. I'm from Canada too and my surgery is on January 9th. I've just started my liquid diet yesterday. I look forward to my surgery date and the days to come after to start my new life.

  19. Hi everyone. I started my liquid diet yesterday. the drink is called optifast 900z I can only have that four times a day for three weeks. The hard part is that I still have to cook for my four year old son. Mind of matter right?One day down.....20 more days to go. Surgery is on January 9th.
