  1. let my peopllllllllllllllle gooooooooooooo!

That was my favorite from last night!

Damn, that was funny, but I felt so sorry for the guy. Poor thing! How about the guy who sang the stalker song while seriously staring at Paula! CREEPY!!

Gawd I love that show, can't wait for another one tonight!!!

  2. If the guy spanked his son the first time he ran into the street and it didn't work, why do you think it should work the second time?

Where does it say he spanked the first time he ran out and then a second time? I must have missed that part....

  3. Dear Second born child of mine,

Please stay out of Mommy's Chistmas card making tools. I have asked you at least 45 times to not touch these things. When I hide them up high it is to keep you out of them, not to encourage you to refine your climbing skills. I understand you think glitter is pretty, but cleaning it from every surface of our house is not worth the dazzle that you get from it. Also thank you for using my Water color pencils to tattoo yourself instead of the sharpie markers you used last time. The clean up was a breeze.

    Love,

Your tired of cleaning the house Mom

    This one is too funny!

  4. Let's blame Wal-Mart for Global Warming too, shall we? Hmmm, what else can we pin on them....I'm sure there's many more woe's of the world that they are responsible for, damn them.

  5. I couldn't resist this thread! Here is a picture of our little Ginger, in this photo she is 9 weeks old and we had just gotten her. Now she is 14 weeks old. She is the cutest, sweetest thing ever! We just adore her! She is a little fur ball and is so good with the kids.

    She is a Malti-Poo.

  6. I appreciate Wal-Mart, thinking of customers and keeping prices in check. Nobody is forced to work there, seriously folks. I prefer Target just because I like their stuff better most of the time, but I will always check Wal-Mart first to see if they have what I want, cuz I know it will be cheaper.

I haven't seen the documentary, and I don't care to because they have an agenda. I don't believe that they show all sides of the issues at hand. They show what they want you to see.

  7. Okay, I went and bought my minutes today. I didn't have time to start tanning, though. I got three visits (4 min, 9 min, and 11 or 14 min - can't remember).

What's the difference between regular lotion and indoor tanning lotion?

Well, good luck. I hope you don't burn like I always do the first 3-4 times, even with those short sessions. I don't think you have enough time if the wedding is this month, but I hope you prove me wrong!!

  8. Does the mystic tan transfer to anything? Does it get all over your clothes, sheets, etc?

Mine did get on my clothes that I put back on after the spray, but not very much and only those clothes. Once I guess it soaked in completely it didn't rub off on anything else, which didn't take too long. Maybe it was my fault for dressing too quickly and not wiping down good enough, I've only done it the one time.

Call or go to your local tanning salons and ask them if they know of any spray tanning facilities, maybe there are others than just the Mystic? It is definately worth looking for. I highly recommend it!

  9. I need to start going to a tanning salon. Any ideas of how to start out? I don't even know if I'll need to use lotions or oils or anything. I've never been to one before.

My brother is getting married later this month and has told me that I better have a tan for the pictures. I'd use a tanning spray, but unfortunately all the ones that I've tried turn orange on me.

Depending on the type of skin you have, are you fair skinned, olive toned? Do you tan easily and quickly? In my experience, I have very fair skin so I burn quite easily and take a long time to get a nice even tan. So if that is like you, don't start now because if the wedding is this month there will not be enough time for you to get a nice even tan, you may end up looking burnt. I would then suggest you do the Mystic Tan, I did it and was amazed at how nice it looked, but disappointed that it didn't last very long. So if that is the way you want to go, I would recommend you do one session soon to see how it is done and then do another session a couple of days right before the wedding. Good luck!

  10. I had follow up here in the U. S. & everything is exactly where it should be. In fact the Dr. that did my fill said the placement was perfect.;)

My follow up doctor told me that they have changed where they originally placed the ports to putting them where mine was placed. I guess they were really impressed with mine!

    Kudos Dr. Huacuz!!!:clap2::clap2:

  11. I didn't vote, but I would have voted for Blake because he ENTERTAINS me. When he comes on he has my full attention because he is always mixing it up, having fun. I don't waste my money going to concerts anymore, I went to plenty when I was younger, but I think I really would go see Blake, he is that entertaining to me! Melinda is good, no doubt about it, but to me she is bland, boring and predictable and loses my attention immediately.

  12. My son has asked for a mohawk so many times, and I would love to let him have one. Problem is his hair is soooo white and fine, plus he is pretty fair skinned, I think it would look ridiculous on him. When I see other boys with them, I just think they are the cutest!!!!

  13. What I don't understand is why people can't let other people make the decision for themselves? Why do they feel the need to make it for them? If someone doesn't want to be exposed to off-topic threads, they aren't forced to be. Let the members make that decision for themselves. If they don't want to see it, they can change the setting for the new posts page in their control panel. But there are those of us who DO want to see those posts on our "New Posts" pages. Alex has given us the ability to make that choice as individuals.

If those threads offend people so much, change the setting in your control panel. It won't keep you from going to Rants and Raves and opening threads there, but it will keep those threads from appearing on your "New Posts" page and on the "Top 5." Problem solved.

    Hypothetical here.....

Let's say your local courthouse had an old sculpture that has been there since forever of, oh, let's say the ten commandments. It was in the middle of the beautiful landscaping that you would have to walk by on your way up to the building. Would you..

    A) start a petition to have it removed because it is offensive to you and does not belong on government property

:( ignore it because you can look the other way when approaching the building, after all, you don't have to read the commandments.

    C) go in the back door to avoid seeing it all together (providing you have been to your courthouse and know your way around)

I see where you stand on keeping this board status quo when it suits you, how about when it doesn't suit you?

So, same type of situation or not? You tell me....

  14. Bitter: I'd be real surprised if a Republican administration would set up a tax breaks for people to buy hybrid cars. A much better liklihood if a Democrat were to be elected though.

When I get my taxes done, they always ask if I've purchased a hybrid vehicle in the last year, of course I always say no so I don't know what would happen if I had.

Why are they asking if not for a tax break??

  15. How nice it would be if instead of becoming defensive, people would stop a moment and learn something new.

Yourself excluded, I'm sure....since you are the all-knowing source of infinite information. Congratulations on that by the way!!

Just because people happen to disagree with you, doesn't mean they need to "learn something new". How condescending.....
