    Anti-Semitism In France!

I did read closely and I agree, there was much that was cordial, you're right. I also agree with your second remark about how I don't find his remarks antagonistic largely because I agree with him, and the same could be said on your side of the coin, right? You do find some of them negative and nasty because you disagree. Perhaps the way we perceive something depends on our beliefs? I don't know, I just wanted to show some support for him as he seemed ganged up on. Nobody will ever agree on everything, that is a given, but can't we all just get along??!! LOL Peace Out!!!

    Anti-Semitism In France!

Hi Ron, I just wanted to say that I have been following this thread quietly. I just want you to know that I do not find you to be arrogant, pompous, or whatever others may have called you. I find you to be extremely passionate, and you have courage of conviction, which is inspiring. Even though everything you have put out here has been, well let's face it, attacked, you continue to answer question after question after question. After reading all these pages, I wonder if they are really after your answers or just wanting to see you flounder or mis-speak, where they will leap out and then pounce on you. Who knows, but it is clear to me that they have not been entirely civil themselves. I find myself agreeing with your interpretation, and I also agree about the bible to be taken litterally unless context indicates otherwise. Some people can't understand this, and I can't explain it but I do believe it to be true. Anyway, I'm probably going to get flamed for what I've said. I think your intentions are noble, but it seems to be falling on deaf ears, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make 'em drink!!

    R U a NASCAR Fan...Let's Talk!

Well, we can't let that happen this year!! Looks like Tony needs to slow down in the pits, if he hadn't made that mistake he probably would've won. There is something about Kenseth I just don't like but I can't put my finger on it....

    American Idol 2007

I was too, she should have been, in my opinion.....not a big fan of her. I was also surprised that the young boy, can't remember his name....starts with an "S", anyway, I'm surprised he wasn't eliminated also. I have been impressed with the funny guy, looks like Jack Osbourne, and the Justin Timberlake look alike, for the guys. Lakisha is amazing, and Sabrina is really good too. Why is it I can't remember the guys names but I can remember some of the girls? Beats me.

    Anti-Semitism In France!

That was so beautifully put, well done! It very much describes my faith as well, but I am definately not that good at putting it into words as well as you did.

How would you answer these questions?

What, if anything, is too serious to joke about? Child Abuse and Racial Slurs If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one quality or one ability, what would it be? The ability to stop eating chocolate and ice cream. Or, to be able to get over my fear of public speaking. Whom, if anyone, do you envy enough to want to trade lives with them?My oldest sister, for multiple reasons. If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what woud it be? For our family to show each other emotion, hugs, to be able to say I love you. If there were a public execution on tv, would you watch it? Probably Would you rather arrive at a party underdressed or overdressed? Overdressed What's more important: actual experiences, or the memories that remain from those experiences? Experiences In real conversations, do you tend to talk more or listen more? Listen More If you had to chose one, would you rather be blind or deaf? Deaf

    R U a NASCAR Fan...Let's Talk!

DAMN THAT NASCAR!!!! Why didn't they throw the yellow, then Martin would have won! Oh, that was sooo heartbreaking, it was beyond words. :think But what an exciting finish, I do like Harvick so I don't want to take anything away from him. Oh well..... My man didn't do anything to speak of, I'm not surprised. :straight Oh, can you say.....DEAD LAST!?!?!? Gotta give you Tony fans some crap! :heh: It's gonna be a helluva year!!! :clap2:

    Sex before marriage?

I have two kids, so I would like to share my feelings with you on this issue. Hopefully this can help put you at ease in some small way. I was the baby of the family, was never around little kids, never babysat, didn't really like kids, period. As I got older and friends started having babies, I would NEVER, repeat NEVER hold them, didn't want anyting to do with them AT ALL. I was soo not motherly, maternal, whatever. So, fast forward a few more years, I got married and we decided it was time to have kids. I got pregnant, mind you I still hadn't held any babies except my sisters baby maybe twice. So when I had my first, it was like a total transformation took over me. Everything changed within me, I suddenly couldn't remember life without him, and didn't want to. I all of a sudden would completely melt whenever I saw a baby, and of course HAD to hold them!! We waited 6 years to have our second one, and I can honestly tell you that it (at least for me) is impossible to love one more than the other. I can't imagine life without them, even for a second. Of course, there are days......just kidding!! So, I hope this has helped you a little.

    Dr. Huacuz in Mexico?

I was banded by Dr. Huacuz on 8/30/2005 and I don't have one bad thing to say about him. He was absolutely wonderful! I trusted him the moment I met him, he made me feel instantly at ease. I would 100% recommend him to anybody. Now, that being said......make sure you have local aftercare, this is very very important. I underestimated the importance of that big time. My local aftercare is over 4 hours away, making it very difficult for me to make the trip to get necessary adjustments, therefore, I haven't lost any weight. There are other factors as well, but that is the main one. So be sure to have aftercare lined up!!! Dr. Huacuz is THE BEST!!!

    Sex before marriage?

I guess to me it is more an issue of teaching respect for women rather than a sexual issue, at this age anyway. For me it is not so much about "looking away" from women, but we just really need to teach our sons how to respect women.

    Sex before marriage?

Ok, since you don't *approve* of this method but do admire the intent, what method would you use to teach this type of thing to young boys? Why would you think 10 is too young? I have an almost 9 year old and will be facing issues sooner rather than later, I'm not going to wait until he is sixteen and it is *oops* too late, at that age, they might not be as willing to listen to you. I think what this lady is doing is a wonderful thing and since you object I really would love to hear an alternative..... One a side note, I don't see too many scantily clad woman to have to divert his eyes from lately, it's freakin -20 below zero here!!! YIKES!!

SuperDaddy: Back to the Starting Line(?)

Jon, you have given me the courage to admit the same thing. The difference is I have absolutely no excuses, except I am just that lazy. I have lost nothing since my initial loss after surgery. I am an absolute failure at this. I eat crappy because it's easier, I watch too much TV, I do everything I did before surgery. Thank you for giving me the courage to admit this, even to myself. Sorry to make this about me when it should be about you, so good luck to you in your new start! I wish you nothing but the best, and congrats on the new baby girl!!!

    Rosie vs Donald

So the plot thickens!! Who do you believe, Donald or Babwa? I really think Donald is telling the truth if he went so far as to put it in writing, I'm sure he must know the liability he would face if it was untrue, right? I dunno but it is fun to watch!!
  18. Yep, that is why I have in BIG BOLD RED PRINT on my Driver's License DONOR. Is it true though that they don't even go by that? Is it still the spouse or next of kins decision anyway?? That is what I've heard.

    Mediocrity and Teenagers

Wow, I'm sorry but you seem like a bit of a snob, like your family is above working at such places as the GAP, or heaven forbid, *gasp* a lunchroom??? Since you are better able to make ends meet, you are better off?? Like that is all that matters. Wow, nice.......
  21. I guess nobody could answer this one!!! I think it is a great question!!!

    Going to New Orleans!!!

Hey guys! My husband won a trip to New Orleans from his job for being employee of the year and I need some help!! We will be attending a few corporate events but then we will have time of our own and I don't know what to plan to do. Any suggestions? We will be staying on Canal street and I'm told that is close to Bourbon Street? If anybody knows of a MUST SEE or MUST DO while we are there, I would really appreciate some info! We are flying out on 1/17 and returning on 1/21. Thanks!
