So I had my sleeve done in 2014. Day of surgery I was 210 pounds. Lowest I dropped to was 174. I maintained my weight between 180-190 for a couple of years. With in the past year gained back all the weight I lost and then some. I’m currently at 212 pounds. I think I have some sort of hernia, and HELLA MEGA BAD reflux. I take Zantac everyday, like even Cereal with milk gives me bad heartburn.
So now here I am, thinking I should get some revision surgery. I already made an appt for a consult. But I’d also like y’alls opinions or suggestions.
-What’s better post sleeve, Roux en Y or bypass?
Also, what are some things y’all wish you would have known with revision??? -

I'm 3 months post op. I'm at a stall. Lately I've been socializing a lot and I've been drinking alcohol. I have like 2-3 drinks, rarely any carbonation.
Is this ok? I feel fine. I don't get sick.
Anyone wanna share their thoughts?

I'm dealing with one from the pits of hell. I've taken Diflucan two times already????. Can this be in any way related to being recently sleeved? Thoughts? Experiences! Ideas?

I kinda regret it as well. I deal with food addiction and overeating. There's no joy in eating anymore. I eat for fuel. I hate it. And yet at the same time, I'm elated by the weight I've lost. It's a mindfuck.

1 month post op and I feel like I find no more joy in food anymore. Like I eat for nutrition/fuel. Does my statement sound weird? I detest eating, I hate thinking about food because I have to watch what I eat or I'll get sick. It's such a chore. It's a huge adjustment when the act of eating what ever you want is such a big part of your life.
I'm happy I got sleeved, I'm happy with my weight loss. But I miss eating. Does anyone else feel like this? Thoughts? #vsgisamindfuk #emotionaleater #icantimsleeved

Still on purees.....took some spam and put it in the nutribullet..... Looked like pink slime. So I cooked like two tablespoons...... Ohhhhh man! Sooo good! Tastes like bacon! Add some mash potatoes and you've got an awesome meal!

No I wasn't really given any guidelines. Just that I have to eat mushy pureed food for four weeks. Then on to soft foods for another four weeks.
I checked the box, the cereal actually has 5 grams of Protein. Plus the Protein in the milk.
I don't know that I wanna eat it. I'm just curious if anyone else has tried it.

Since surgery 3 weeks ago, I've noticed I've get super dizzy any time I get out of bed super fast. Or if I bend down to pick something and then stand up. It's annoying.
Anyone else???

I'm 3 weeks post op. I'm curious to see what you guys think.
Do you think shredded wheat Cereal is a good idea? It gets mushy in milk. So.....??

I cooked some ground beef and added taco seasoning. pureed it in a nutribullet. Took a spoonful, added some refried Beans and shredded cheese on top. Also added some fresh pureed salsa. HEAVEN!
I've in the same stage. Half and egg with refried Beans, blended oatmeal into powder before cooking. Mash taters and potted meat. I'm mexican, so I'm adding salsa to everything!

I was sleeved in 2014 and now I’m looking into getting a revision due to GERD and a Hiatal Hernia. Has anyone had Medicaid approve revision surgery??
