I've found the perfect surgeon for me!!! I have a client who's in the health profession, and she has several very good friends who went to this Dr.. Funny thing when I asked her advice earlier that week I kept bumping into that Dr's profile online

I'm hoping that my new lifestyle will rub off on him.. He's not as overweight as I am. So I think he'll follow suit, considering I'm the cook typically lol

Thanks for advice, I've not seen a surgeon yet so do I really wanna try and lose any weight yet? I've always had a scale to weigh food and have been off and on MyFitnessPal countless times, with plenty for them to analyze.. I did watch a few videos on the surgery on YouTube (man you can really find anything on there) and am reading so much info everywhere. So thank you for your suggestion on Cleveland Clinic. I definitely will check it out.. I to know several who have gained their weight back ???? but I don't think they fixed their head space yet. I find it sad for them... I know that is going to be the key in my journey, dealing with that head hunger/addiction transferral situation. I definitely will mention it to my doc.. Because I want this to be the complete end of this overweight business.. Thanks again for all you said ????????

Are they through Carolina's medical center? I have seminar there January 12th. I did an online seminar with southeast Bariatric and have appointment with dr Voellinger not until feb 6th. I thought I'd go to the other place I first mentioned to just in case I can get process started sooner. I'm nervous about going for some reason. I think just walking in to seminar is me admitting I need the help and calling myself overweight..

My man and our son will have to adjust eventually to our new way of eating soon enough, our little one is 4.5 and will be fine, my 38 yr old is a different story lol... He's been on countless diets with me, and I'm usually the one to falter first ????

Yes it totally does!!!! Do you feel like a stronger even better you having gone through so much change? If that's even the correct way to label what you went through!! So sorry for all of your loss!!!!! I couldn't imagine losing 4loved ones close together!!! Had you lost the weight already or in middle of your journey when that started to happen? And if that's to personal please don't feel like you have to respond ????

Thank you so much for the welcome and great advice.. I've always been the one to skip a few details to make it a little easier, now look at me 330 pounds and rising ???? I wasn't an over weight child or adolescent, my early 20's was the onset of it all. I went from party boy at the club to a relationship that I'm still gladly in, buying a house a year after that and opening my own salon business all in 2yrs time. I started off drinking way to much and a little to much good food, then realized I didn't like drunk me so I then turned to food.. So I just transferred from one addiction to another ???? hey at least I see it right!? Thanks again for advice and yes I will keep posting here
