You are doing so amazing ???? so glad you are so successful, it really feels good.

Oh and I decided to get on some antidepressants and anxiety meds. I think I need that extra help through this journey. I've dealt with both issues off and on since my teens, and this whole no food I love business is doing a number on my head. I'm ok don't think anything like that, just know my mood is changing, and it's unfamiliar territory with this surgery change, to my body. I just don't want to gain my weight back after I go through all this.

Good morning everyone ???? I had to take a mental break from all social media this weekend. Partly due to having to do so much before holiday hair, and partly I just need a break. So hi and I'm alive ???? I'm down a total of 42 pounds now yay.. I'm down to 305... Not to many people are noticing yet, but I'm starting to feel it in my shirts. Today I start back to all foods now and am scared to go back to old habits. I had a few sugar free chocolate wafers and a serving size worth of animal crackers my son was eating yesterday and it didn't bother me. That scares the hell out of me to know that. God help me. My energy still sucks and haven't been regularly walking, but I must say I'm back to work (only after 9 days) and I'm on my feet the whole time being a hair stylist. So I'm sure that constitutes a lot of walking ???? I'm just scared I'm already failing or gonna gain it all back because I tried what I did. I know not to keep doing it, but I was needing something that I knew tasted good damnit .. Well that's all ???? here's to hoping ❤️ I hope all of you had a great holiday weekend. PS I'm going to put my a$$ in action today and workout ????????????????

So Good to hear! I, on the other hand, just called my Doc's office. I woke up with pain under my mid left rib cage when I take deep breaths. It has gotten a little worse, hurts pretty severe when I sneeze or cough. They told me to take some pain meds, in case it is swelling associated with the surgery and they want me to be seen tomorrow. I hope it has nothing to do with that damn inspirometer. I was rather lazy about breathing into it after about day 3????. I really don't feel like I have congestion or pneumonia, though. We shall see. Hello savorysweet, how did you make out at doctors. Nothing too serious I hope. The pain at the rib cage, did doctor have any idea of what's going on.Thanks for checking on me. They sent me for a chest X-ray then read that and told me to go to hospital for CAT scan and some other test. So now we are playing the waiting game.Gosh I hope it's not to serious.. Definitely keep us posted and you will be in my thoughts and prayers ????????????

I just hope this is temporary, I know this is an issue for us weight loss surgery people.

It's supposed to be 90% less carbs. Kinda like biscuick I'm thinking.

Welcome to the May thread.. Yes the pain was bad, but it's gonna be so worth it in the end. I hope it gets better for ya soon ???? I follow her on Pinterest, she has a lot of great ideas. I totally forgot to share that information, so glad you did.

Hi JennI'll share Highest weight 245 Surgery weight 236 Surgery 5/5/15 (14 days post op) Current as of today 223 Down 22 lbs total I'm 5 feet 7 inches tall , I started this process in February so I'm down 22 lbs in 3 months. Never would I have been able to do that in the past. Congrats on your stats!! You're doing amazing ????

It's a racket, and now look at how we have to react to all of the obesity.. Surgery.. That they cover, with help from our money on both sides of course. It should be illegal for them to do that..

Ouch! Take it easy! I remember my CNP telling me that it's very common to feel pulls and tugs especially if it's an incision with some underlying stitches! If it gets worse, don't be Afraid to call! I've called twice because I've had a rash and might have an infected incision AND thrush! It's a journey, for sure!Thanks Jenn. I am taking it easy now. Yes , with the inside stitches have to be careful, I just figured I was 13 days post op and should be ok. I was wrong , inside takes longer to heal. I'm feeling a bit better today. How did you make out with your incisions , do you have an infection , what did doctor say. Not even kidding, I did the same thing you did today while I was getting in my car. Sharp pain, then it became dull and started fading! Can see how it'd freak you out!And good! No infection just a weird reaction where the glue met part of the incision that was scabbed over! She pulled the glue off and has me Doing bacitracin and band aids for a while over that one! I do have thrush too. So i am NOT looking forward to the nystatin mouth rinse ???? Thank you for asking! Your welcome. Really glad to hear no big ingestion to worry about. Thrush, keep up with the mouth rinses, thrush can clear up pretty quickly. As for our incision areas have to careful. They appear pretty much healed on the outside but inside no way. I was to start soft food tomorrow , I couldn't wait. Started soft today. Had cottage cheese for breakfast , cottage cheese never tasted so good. Lol. Didn't I tell ya, that cottage cheese tasted like heaven in your mouth lol.. And yes we are still healing on inside. I found that out yesterday with my first dumping episode. It lasted for almost and hour and a half. Sooooo not fun. I had to hold my stomach with arm propped up on one knee to vomit ???? that Sh:t hurt .. But I survived. I kept getting burpy foamyness in back of throat, a few hours after. My gut is a little sore but mostly good now. That's why I wasn't on last night. I ate my food a bit to fast and paid the price. My 4 almost 5 year old son decided to act a fool at dinner, and I had to have a come to Jesus meeting with him, and it just frazzled me and all new eating habits went out the window. Never again.. He can just be a butt. Cause it was so not worth it lol.

Omg yes take it easy. I find I keep trying to do chores or pick up things that are way to heavy, on accident of course. I hope everything is ok..
