I also had problems, but I found Vitacost Sprinkle-a-Whey, unflavored protein to sprinkle on food, soups, etc.. You can only buy it online and it's less than $10.00. Good luck!! -

I'm 5 1/2 weeks out, and when I came home, the only pain I had was in my esophagus due to hernia repair. I had slept in the recliner for 3 days until it was suggested to get a wedge pillow and that worked perfect! Now don't need the wedge at all. Also, if you take antidepressants, please ask your doctor when to start them back! If they can't be crushed, ask for a kind that can until you can swallow them. Good luck!! -

Hope by now you're able to get some water down. I'm 5 1/2 weeks out and still can only do 1 oz at a time. I Use sugar free Popsicles and they work the best. Good luck! -
My goal weight is 140 lbs, I'm 5 1/2 weeks out from surgery and have lost 34 lbs so far. Begini weight was 227 and I'm at 193 now. By Valentines Day, I hope to be 180.
