  1. They kind of remind me of tapioca pudding after they swell. I've purchased the light colored seeds, just in case my tooth brush wasn't close by. The taste is unremarkable.
  2. I'm 59 and I've been HOT!!!!! for the last 5 years, 30 days post surgury and haven't been warm since.
  3. lip balm baby wipes My own pillow - I really liked having my own pillow. Moisturizing cream VERY loose pants and undies warm socks and a pair of slippers iphone/ipad and chargers and EXTENSION CORD These are the things I was really happy I had.
  4. I had a two week pre-op diet, I ate ONLY what was on the diet and lost 15 lbs prior to my surgery date. (12/17/14) It was a very looooong 2 weeks.
  5. Same problem here, I really have to concentrate. I've even used that app, Eat Slower. It does help.
  6. I also had surgery on 12/17, and have lost 17 lbs. I'm doing everything I'm suppose to do as far as diet and exercise. Staying patient, staying on plan, and doing my best to shrug off the silly worries that roll through my brain.
  7. I had my first soft meal last night, it was AMAZING!!!!! As simple as it was (egg beaters with a little cottage cheese), I ate a little too much too fast, and paid the uncomfortable price of doing that. But I got over it and later on I had the best nights sleep in quite a while. Never woke up hungry once.
  8. The isopure is awesome. It helped me through pre-op and now 3 weeks post-op. My favorite is the grape.
  9. My surgery was Dec 17th, and I'm very hungry, especially in the evening. I've been only on protien shakes and liquids up until now and I'm hoping that the next stage - soft diet will help me stave off the hunger.
  10. Tomorrow is my day, what a Christmas present this is. I had to pack last night, even though I searched these forums and found out what I needed, I think I still over packed. I'm busying myself with silly things at work and not thinking about my last day on this pre-op diet. Just pushing as much Fluid as possible so my veins are easier to find. LisaLou
  11. My date is the same, December 17. I'm so excited. I also have all my shakes, vitamins and logs ready to go.
