    How about some NSVs!?!?

Yesterday and today, I decided that instead of wearing baggy clothes to the gym, i decided to wear a sports tank top with the bra it and workout capris. I would have never worn something like that showed all my curves, but after all my hard work, it time to show it. Plus the top was a XL, when i use to wear a 4X just 7 months ago.

Yes it does, I'm almost at my 7 month anniversary and I am amazed to see myself go from 439lbs to now weighing 278lbs. This is the lightest I have weighted in 18 years.

    Calories intake Vs. Calorie outtake

I'm currently working out 2.5 hours doing cardio. 1Hour on treadmill were i burn about 1200 calories, then the elliptical for 1 hour burning 743 calories, and then 30 mins on the stationary bike burning 254 calories. I guess my question is with burning that amount of calories 6days a week, how many calories do i need to intake to keep my body lossing weight and not hit a stall. I guess you could say that magic number that healthy but still keeps the pounds coming off. Even getting in the protein and water, it like my body needs more, or I'll be tired. My trainer suggested increase my calories, so has anyone else dealt with this.
  5. Hello Everyone, I'm doing great and I glad to hear that everyone is having such positive results and attitudes. My surgery was December 15th and I'm down 100lbs since surgery. 155lbs since I started my journey. I have another 94lbs to go to reach my goal and I'm not letting anything stand in my way! Keep up the great work everyone and keep pushing forward.
  6. Congratulations and keep up the good work!

From the 3s to the 2s

We all have had times where we felt the weight wasn't coming off fast enough, but just remember that your body is still adjusting to your new eating habits and the surgery. Also give yourself a pat on your back because you already took a big step with having the surgery now just keep pushing forward and follow your plan.

    Hot Flashes and Nausea

Thank you giys for your suggestions and I'm wondering if having a hysterectomy a few years back and this surgery throw my hormones off causing the hot flashes as was suggested earlier.
  19. It's totally worth it! Not everyone has complications, and I'm one of the lucky ones. I stated this journey at 439lbs and had my surgery on December 15,2014 at 383lbs, and now 3 1/2 months post I'm down to 312. I still have 152 to go to reach my goal and I'm not letting anything get in my way.

    Enough calories?

I know how you feel about getting the calories right, I'm struggling with the same thing. I'm currently in a biggest loser contest at my gym and I'm up against women half my size and the contest is based on body percentage lost and I'm determined to win, so i have my protein and water where it needs to be, i just need to play with my calorie intake to find that magic number for my body and activity level.
