Had my surgery Thursday morning and got discharged tonight (Friday) around 5. Pain was awful the first day! Get lots of rest but get up and walk! Don't refuse the pain medicine, it's better to keep it under control than use it when it gets bad. I had a lot of pain in my chest but once I walked it went away. I also couldn't sleep so I got up and walked a lot. 3 other ladies got it done and they told me I walked more than them combined. Today I could keep all liquid down and only got nauseous when I got pain medicine. At the beginning its rough but you can get through it! Good luck to everyone! The first 48 hrs are the hardest! But remember the outcome in the hard times! Here for you all if you have questions or anything else!

I had surgery yesterday and was in a lot of pain and very nauseous! I didn't sleep at all last night but have been up walking as much as I can. I am getting discharged in the next 30 minutes, ready to be home!

Oh my goodness YUM! I gotta try that! Or better yet let my 16 year old with the super fast metabolism order it and have a few sips LOL! Probably not a whole lot of Apple juice though, right?
It's actually mostly Apple juice!!

Simply blessed how is your liquid diet going. I think I'm most nervous about it for now anyway!!! Lol
Grandma2tweeties, the first 2 days were a piece of cake, but today the third day has been my hardest, I have been STARVING all day, and very out of it. Hoping tomorrow will be better, and def jealous of the people who don't have to do full liquids.

I'm 22 and getting the sleeve on December 11th I've told select family and friends. Most don't understand why I want to do this so it's difficult!
