Thank you lovely, wonderful people! I couldn't do this journey without your support. @proudgrammy I am going to lose the 42 pounds I need to so I can have the embolizm rather than have a hysterectomy: I really can't face any more surgery!!!!!!

  8. Finally at my 3 months i hit 100 pounds down. Whew! so happy!

  9. Well, after a long month, my weight finally budged and I lost over 5 pounds in a week. The plateau was weird, as I continued to see my arms and stomach shrink, but with this sudden loss in weight, my belly has really flattened. Must be water. At month 4, my appetite has continued to decrease, but I'm feeling great. I actually went out in just jeans and a T-shirt yesterday -- the first time ever without a shirt to cover up my butt -- and it felt great!

  10. Just dropping in to say hello to my fellow sleevers!! it's been two months since my surgery! My body is still adjusting and my mind is trying to catch up! Lol... I still struggle with foods that I once ate, but not too much of a problem, it's like I'll think about it thenas fast as it came, it went just as fast.

      Laydee_G

Yes, we have to deal with the stressful situations some other way than eating!

  15. Finally dropped below 190! It has taken forever, but as usual, my dress size keeps getting smaller in spite of it all. Am tossing out more saggy clothes and starting to wear tight-fitting things. Skin is tightening up on my upper arms and stomach, so happy days.

      Laydee_G

I am seeing the doctor on Monday for the nausea and yes I think I still need to slow down on my eating (nibbling) and maybe not chicken for now.

Many thanks to you Stevehud and Proudgrammy as well as BeagleLover.

      So grateful for this website!

Tisty I really understand where you are at and did the same thing myself. 6 weeks later I now prefer the upright position!

  24. Started my pre-op diet TODAY. Whoa, its getting real up in heeerrrreee!

    1. Laydee_G

      Laydee_G

Jana I didn't have to do one either as my surgeon is also a liver specialist and is confident about moving it around for surgery. however I thought I would help him out and do a pre-op diet anyway: I'm glad I did because my recovery was so good even though I'm having a few hard days on soft foods right now - I know doing the pre-op diet was the right thing.

Keep going Shizwiz: you're on your way xxx
