Oh and what I'm really struggling with is how THIRSTY I am. Oh my god I'm so thirsty. My mouth is super dry and I can't wait to try water later

I am official sleeved! My surgery was delayed (instead of going in at 4pm I didn't get to go in until 6pm). The surgery only took an hour and a half, I was sleepy all night after I woke up. I just woke up right now and I do feel very sore. The pain from the bigger incision I have is real haha. But I am really shocked that I have zero gas pains. I have been peeing often because of the IV juice and it really hurts to get up to the bathroom but it's nothing too bad. I'm getting a gastric emptying test at 6 am and hopefully go home today!

My surgery is tomorrow! At 4pm! It's official. I'm so emotional right now!

I'm excited for everyone! This is life changing! I've been wanting this for so long.

I just got the call from the hospital! My surgery is at 4pm! I have to get there at 1pm! I'm SO happy and so emotional. I'm even crying. Happy tears!

@@dar81 Really? That's so weird. I'm going to get it done at St. Barnabas. I called the office and someone told me to just wait for the hospital to call me. I'm going to call the office again in a few hours if I don't get a call.

@@mommyoftwogirls I have the same Thoughts! Like what if I didn't lose enough for surgery or what if there's an issue of some sort. Agh haha

What are the thoughts going through everyone else's heads now that the 15th is around the corner??

1 day and 2 nights!!!!!!!!! I'm so nervous but mostly excited! Still waiting on that call from the hospital and for some reason I feel hungrier than ever?! I think it's just because I'm so antsy. I have reoccurring "what if's" in my head but I'm trying my best to focus on all the good that's about to come!

Thanks guys! You really helped. It's tough because I get tired of sweet tasting stuff really quickly so I'll definitely be adding broth into the mix. I don't think I'd have the same confidence with myself or optimism throughout my gastric sleeve journey as I do now have I not joined this website/forum.

I'm starting my 2 week liquid diet today. I was wondering how many times a day did you guys that are/have been on the liquid diet drink protein shakes a day?

@@dar81 oh and Isopure protein powder is awesome! 50 grams of protein! I rather that then the drink. The drink basically tastes like kerosene to me haha

@@dar81 all you need to do to tag someone is add @ right before the persons username I'm still experimenting with Protein supplements and shakes myself but I have tried EAS and Premier Protein and I like both a lot. You can buy either at Walmart, costco or BJ's. I'm planning on just drinking those, Water, broth and crystal light during my pre op diet. I have no idea how I'm going to survive on just shakes and water but we can do it! Haha

@@dar81 The office did seem unorganized at first and it made me really worried. I started to see him when his office was in St. Barnabas. The new office is really nice.

@@dar81 oh my god! I have Dr. Paragi too! I'm so excited to have found someone with the same surgeon as me! My surgery is set for January 15th and I start my pre op diet this Friday! I'm so nervous and excited.
