  1. I am also about 1.5 years out.. Gastric bypass in 11/03/14 . I was 282 pre op and now weigh 175 I am still considered overweight and it's an everyday struggle, I find that I'm hungry all the time..
  2. Keep it up, it is never too late to improve our quality of life
  3.    BCs 1000 reacted to a post in a topic: 6 months out... What's your progress?
  4. You obviously were surrounded by people who loved you for you and thought you were beautiful inside and out. Nothing to be ashamed of . I had the same problem. As you continue this journey to your well being remember that you are you and we are who we are and although the outside is forever changing our interior is constant.
  5. Don't be discouraged the more you obsess the more your body will hold on to the weight... I think you're doing awesome.. My surgery date was nov 3, 2014 and I've lost about the same amount as you and I'm so proud...
  6. I've also done about 83 lbs post off...
  7. Good luck.. You're doing great
  8. I had my surgery day nov 3 2014, I was nervous because it would be around the holidays and I love to eat ... I was 283 post op and as of today I'm 230 curious to know if anyone out there has the same surgery dates so we could offer support to one another
  9. I think it's individual tolerance.. I also believe it's a quantity thing.. I've had a handful of popcorn here and there but thoroughly chewed... Ditto for corn
  10. My sister in law's brother had a bypass and he lost about 100 lbs but after two years gained it all back.. I believed he stretched his pouch because at gatherings you couldn't tell he had anything done by the way he eats.. In addition he drinks a lot.. I it possible to stretch your pouch..
  11. I tried the toast that has about 35 calories a slice I would limit it to two and topped it with a little chicken, crab, or tuna salad made with canola mayo just a bit.. Very satysfying
  12. Thanks... It's just so fustrating my husband eats everything and looks awesome I eat any little thing and gain weight
